We few, we happy few, we band of brothers...

Today is the feast of St Crispin and St Chrispian. Which means it is the anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, (1415) arguably the finest victory of the English over the French. It was certainly the inspiration for some of Shakespeare's finest verses. See  here

This battle no longer reflects England.

Low-paid Britons now number five million said...

This is as a direct result of the Labour Party policy of mass immigration. The chattering classes have not been hurt by the invasion, instead the very people who really need a genuine socialst party, the working class, have been betrayed by the very politicians who they believe represent their best interests. The Labour scum truly are vermin of the worst type.

A record five million UK workers are now in low-paid jobs, research from a think tank suggests.

Those earning less than two thirds of median hourly pay - equivalent to £7.69 an hour - rose by 250,000 to 5.2m last year, the Resolution Foundation said.

It said a "growing rump" of low-paid jobs was a problem for ministers because it kept tax revenues low.

Workers in Britain were more likely to be low paid than workers in comparable economies like Germany and Australia, the left-of-centre think tank's report said.

The report said there was a serious problem of people being stuck in low-paid jobs, with almost one in four minimum wage employees still on that rate for the last five years.

Tony Blair warns curbing immigration would be disaster for Britain said...

Tony Blair has intervened in the increasingly fractious debate on how counter Ukip’s appeal over immigration by saying that chasing Ukip’s support will only validate the argument of its leaders.

He urged the Labour party to show greater clarity that immigration is both necessary and defensible.

Labour, he says, should not “end up chasing after the policies of a party like Ukip, who you don’t agree with, whose policies would take this country backwards economically, politically, in every conceivable way, and who, ultimately, at the heart of what they do, have a rather nasty core of prejudice that none of us believe in, which you’ve actually got to take on and fight. So the way to deal with this is to deal with it by what you believe.”

Why would any of us think the man is anything but honest, I'm sure if we stopped EU immigration our country would be ruined, in about 45 minutes I imagine.
