Dangerous Dog Attack

Click the image above to enlarge and to read the details of this nasty incident including an appeal for information regarding the owners of the vicious brute in question. The incident occurred at 16.30 on Monday 16th June.

As it happens the only time my dog was ever pounced upon in a completely unexpected and unprovoked attack it was by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This breed of dog seems to be responsible for the majority dog attacks I hear of.

I will be in the market for as new dog in the not too distant future and a Staffie is definitely not going to make the shortlist.

As for the dogs, they need retraining by decent owners.

"As for the dogs, they need retraining by decent owners"

No they want banning. Any breed that is disproportionately represented in dog attacks should be banned. simple as that.

My uncle's greyhound was attacked by a dog last year, no prizes for guessing the breed. It was wandering about with no owner, and came innocently sniffing up before locking its teeth into the dog's back legs. No way of getting it off, until that is he gouged its eyes and it then it let go. A real Jeckyll & Hyde breed staffies which is part of the problem.

PS - anyone after a new dog should consider a greyhound, fantastic friendly dogs that only need two 20min walks a day and spend the rest of the time crashed out snoozing. Belle Vue dogs are retired at about age 4 and they live up to about 15. Healthy dogs too, don't bark much and are not destructive in the house. Belle Vue stadium always have dogs available for adoption for the cost of a cheap donation.

It seems Staffies like attacking guide dogs as well as children, horses and anything else that moves.

I have been told they were, as a breed, purpose bred for fighting. I have never seen a nice one, they are squat and ugly looking. I cannot see the attraction but apparently they are one of the most popular breeds in Britain.

These dogs reflect the increasingly inferior, moronic, subhuman nature of Britain's indigenous population.
We, of course, have other rapidly growing problems of the 'imported' kind.

Staffies were the bred as the ultimate fighting dog. When bull baiting was (thankfully) outlawed in England, the original bull baiting dogs were crossed with terriers for tenaciousness. Later incarnations (eg - pit bulls) come from this breed. Somewhere along the line, someone had the bright idea of breeding a slightly more docile and friendly version of the original staffy - the kind we see today on most estates. Problem being of course its original nature was never entirely eliminated from the gene pool, and has an awkward tendency of making its presence felt.

Here is a little known fact from the PDSA. Four fifths of Staffordshire Bullterriers belong to ownners who live on state benefits.

A family friend of ours owns a Staffie. You would cross the road if you saw the animal but he's a softie, I blame the scumbag lazy owners of the dogs who attack people and so on.

TC I recommend a German Shepard, or a German Shepard cross, lovely animals with great intellect. Alternatively a wolf or a wolf-dog, I know you are a fan of ripping small animals to shreds and these breeds have a great aptitude for it.

TAMESIDE CITIZEN EXCLUSIVE: Labour Councillor Mike Whitley Caught Drink Driving.

I'm told that the Labour councillor for Waterloo was caught drink driving after a council meeting on Tuesday. Someone reported him getting into his car and he was breathalysed by the police.

It will be buried deep in the inner pages of the Advertiser. You read it here first.

I await Cllr Lynn Travis' motion condeming drink driving. I'm sure there are more deaths by drink driving than second hand smoke.

Serpent Slayer, you are either attempting to be humorous or are badly mistaken when you say “I know you are a fan of ripping small animals to shreds” .

I find all forms all animal cruelty utterly abhorrent. I would be happy if the psychopath owners of dogs who gain enjoyment from watching their hounds rip small animals apart, actually became victims themselves and suffered the same fate in the jaws of their own bloodthirsty mutts.

Any person with a bloodlust who can take enjoyment out of watching innocent animals killed in a violent manner, should that be a bull in the ring, a fox in the countryside pursued by toffs on horseback or a supposed holy man chanting at a ritual slaughter, each and everyone of them cares not for the sanctity of life and they gain pleasure from suffering. In my opinion these people would murder a human without any qualms if they believed they could get away with it. It is well documented that most serial killers started off by inflicting cruelty to animals so there you have it by TC logic: Animal torturer = potential serial killer.

With regards to your recommendation, I should add, an Alsatian was my very first dog that was bought when I was a baby. He was a brilliant dog who lived to an old age. My second dog was a black and tan Doberman, he too lived to a grand old age. The last two, both boxers - and fine examples they were, sadly only lived to six (cancer) and seven (DCM). Boxers are wonderful dogs but it is heartbreaking to see them die so young through inherent genetic faults. Bearing that in mind I have come round full circle and am again considering an Alsatian. The wolf/dog hybrids you mention are interesting but to get a good one either bred in South Africa or the Czech Republic is very expensive and they were bred for specific purposes in those countries so theoretically you may end up with a dog three times the size of a Staff and twice as vicious, now that would be a handful - even for me :-)

Labradors are fantastic dogs, very friendly and energetic and one of the most intelligent breeds. Shame so many are now under attack from these trendy chav devil dogs.

I would avoid buying another dog TC; my last one tried to grab the two chips that were stuck up my nostrils.

UPDATE:

Got it wrong. The Mike Whitley arrest was weeks ago. He was in court a few days ago and got a 16 month driving ban.

You are easy to wind up TC.

I share most of your principles weirdly enough, I've long since given up caring about people finding me odd so I may as well mention that I believe that humans are mere guests on this planet and that we should not treat the flora and fauna too badly so long as we are staying here.

I'm sure whichever breed you pick, you will learn to love them, my current dog is a female terrier. Being used to German Shepard cross males I was sceptical about getting her. Nonetheless I love the little thing and I can't imagine the house without her in it.

The name Alsatian was formally dropped by the Kennel Club in 2010. The breed name has now officially reverted to German Shepherd.
Alsatian was introduced in Britain at the wnd of WWI due to anti-German sentiment and other international kennel clubs followed suit.
Interestingly one of Adolf Hitler's favourite and most well known dogs was a German Shepherd bitch called Blondi, given to him by Martin Bormann. The animal was killed by cyanide capsule at the end of april 1945.

Get yourself under control TC. I don't know too many fox hunters, bull fighters etc who ended up as serial killers. Such monsters were usually born warped and made worse by their upbringing. They are, fortunately, very rare.
Gratuitous cruelty should be eradicated but so should irrational oversensitivity. There is no such thing as the sanctity of life, some animals, and A LOT of people, need killing. It should be done quickly and humanely. Except in the worst cases such as child murder where the perpetrators should be made to suffer extreme and prolonged agony as a deterrent to others, to bring home to them the horror they inflicted on their victims, and because THEY DESERVE IT. A machine which would remove the human element would be the best method to administer this punishment which should be unwitnessed.

Saudi authorities warned non-Muslim expatriates on Friday, the first day of Ramadan, not to eat, drink, or smoke in public until the end of the Muslim holy month's sunrise-to-sunset fast — or face expulsion.

The Interior Ministry of the oil-rich kingdom called on expatriates to "show consideration for feelings of Muslims" and "preserve the sacred Islamic rituals." Otherwise, a ministry statement said, Saudi authorities will cancel violators' work contracts and expel them.

On this day July 20th 1969 : SS sends man to the moon.

National Socialist SS rocket scientists led by Wernher von Braun succeeeded in landing a man on the moon. The lunar landing was made at the Sea of Tranquility. Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. became the first men to walk on its surface 6 hours later on the 21st July. This remains the greatest achievement in the history of the Aryan Race!

White flight said...

It was seven months even before that when the first manned craft, Apollo 8, flew to the moon in three days, made ten lunar orbits and returned.
Forty three and a half years later and manned missions are reduced to earth orbit experiments etc.
We should and could have gone to Mars and beyond but mankind has been sidetracked dealing with the massive expansion in inferior groups, cultures and individuals. Marxists, do-gooders and the weak-minded have made this worthless, meaningless, pointless 'task' a be all and end all crusade that goes precisely nowhere. Unless you consider a massive increase in the population of sub-saharan Africa, for example, an achievement.

"We should and could have gone to Mars"

Apollo was perhaps the most impressive technical feat I can think of, challenged only by the Manhattan Project and North Sea Oil. Rival submissions welcome. I doubt sending Man to Mars would have done much though to deflect the elite from the big ongoing project to incorporate the global pop'n into one vast labour-pool-cum-market.

White flight said...

Images of men walking on the surface of Mars circa 1980s would have had a significant impact on the psyche of man.
The moon is 250,000 miles away. Mars, at its nearest, is 36 MILLION miles away (maximum 250 million miles).
Our species, visible on a cosmic body at such vast distance, would have created a telling, permanent resonance in the brains of thousands of millions of people. The massively significant and inspirational effect of such a staggering technological achievement cannot be underestimated.

They shake the hands of Muslims as they hold a knife behind their own back...

The Muslims will be the first to be blamed if any catastrophe were to affect the once Holy Olympic Games (I consider only the 1936 games to have been godly at all)

The politicians will not be so friendly when they dole out the hate to purported terrorists and they seem a lot less friendly to Islamic nations who reject usury (which is anti-islamic)or who defy globalist monetary practice in anyway.

Utter snakes one and all, they pretend to back Christianity, Islam and every other major faith, all while caring only about the religion of gold and secret handshakes.

I hope that any strife resulting from the Olympics is aimed solely at it's perpetrators and not at it's victims.

Fuck democracy said...

The mainstream party leaders' grovelling to Muslims at Ramadan sums up the now total irrelevance of our democratically elected representatives.
The truth is MPs, Lords and the establishment are now a major part of the actual problem, and both Houses of Parliament have been reduced to meaningless talking shops that are desperate to avoid even discussing threats to our national survival, that issues like Islam and immigration in general represent.
They need to be sidelined and then removed. Many of them were only elected through garnering support from immigrant communities and individuals who have only been here for a few years (or even weeks) as Commonwealth citizens are granted FULL voting rights simply for being here. A lunatic and dangerous situation.
