Tyres dumped, Stockport Rd, Denton
The council will not have to pick up the bill for this illegal fly tipping as it is just about on land owned by United Utilities. The vermin responsible obviously planned ahead while looking for a site to dump these tyres. Nobody would have given a second glance at a van reversed into this entrance to the water treatments works. As the criminals unloaded the tyres they would have been shielded from passing cars by the back doors. Now they have gotten away with it once, no doubt they will use this same spot to dump more in the future.
If you ever find yourself passing the water treatment works always take a look over at the entrance just in case on the off chance you catch them at it again.
It must be frustrating to be a legitimate tyre disposal business when you are competing against unscrupulous criminals who will be able to undercut you every time because unlike you, they do not have to pay for the tyres to go to landfill or recycling, they just look for a quiet spot like this where they can dump and scarper.
Tyre disposal is big business and when the criminal scum responsible for crimes like this outgrow roadside dumping they usually rent a yard and then collect tens of thousands of tyres for disposal, but before legitimate disposal ever takes place a fire, accidentally on purpose 'mysteriously' starts and all the tyres go up in smoke. The crooks then abandon the site and leave someone else to pick up the bill.
