Labour Out in Large Numbers in Longdendale

Not exactly hot off the press but I have just got in and found these three photos of the Labour team out in Longdendale this afternoon. They were sent by a resident who had just been canvassed by Cllr Parker Perry. Apparently Labour are going for it big time in Longdendale.

Let us remember that Labour can easily win just by mobilising the brain dead in any given ward. You can imaging the spiel as it alters from door to door:

No 2 Weavers Terrace: Hello Enid, how are you today, I am from the Labour Party. Remember love, we are the party of the working class and have always defended workers rights. Will you be voting for us on September 30th?

Delvron House: Hello Jemima, that is a lovely Range Rover Sport you are driving, is it the V8? Sorry to bother you and I can see by all those Selfridges and Harvey Nichols bags you have just been shopping but could I persuade you to vote Labour in the forthcoming by-election. Please do take into consideration that under the Labour government we ensured the wealth divide was at its greatest since feudal times. We believe certain people of elevated rank like yourself should not have to subsidise the work-shy and feckless. We believe in the free market and understand the workforce is just another commodity but a commodity with a debt of duty to tirelessly serve their superiors and those who refuse will be punished accordingly. If that means cutting the benefits of the lazy who refuse to work for the entrepreneurial classes then so be it!

No 3 Pickmere Way: Hi, is that Alan, Alan, I am from the Labour Party and I am hoping you will be turning out to vote for us on 30th September. I hear what you are saying about the Slovakian who took your job because he would work for the minimum wage, and you, being a time served skilled worker would not, but that is the way of the world now. We have to move on and abandon those notions of job security and I can see from the plasma TV in your living room that the benefits system we created to cater for people like you is working fine.

Flat 52, floor 10: Hello Ms Njoki Wanjohi. It is me again from the Labour Party. Do you have the latest batch of sixteen postal vote forms that I dropped off yesterday? Are they all completed as discussed? Thank you very much Njoki Wanjohi and I will see you at the citizenship hearing on Tuesday.

The sad fact is; for whatever reason Labour appear to be able to mobilise activists night and day whereas most activists from other parties have to work and are limited to evening and weekend campaigning. If Labour thoroughly canvass the entire ward it is highly probable they will identify enough brain dead morons who they will then mobilise to vote en-masse. This would then lead to another Labour by-election victory and that would not be good for the people of Longdendale of the borough of Tameside. So come on opposition - pull all the stops to defeat this dastardly foe because looking at the results from May this ward can definitely be taken - but only with a determined campaign and lots of hard graft!

Thats why, politics will not save what is left of England now! These Labour scum will have their time now, but when the shit really hits the fan, then, these chances will run and hide.

Nominations in and the campaign starts now. If we can prevent a win for the socialist tories who think they have a god given right to govern that is job done from our point of view.

The above UKIP comment MUST be a joke. However it's still absolutely true.
UKIP and postal votes from pensioners and the Wanjohis/associated incomers are Labour's best friends. When this 'method' works nationwide the coutry will truly be finished.
Since the devastating shock of defeat to the Tories in 1992 victory has become Labour's reason for existence. Selling their principles and the country down the river are merely incidentals.

What a sad reflection on ukip party that post.

A CHALLENGE TO THE LABOUR CANDIDATE

Can you fight a fair, clean fight or will you resort to the lies and deceit that always make up a Labour by-election campaign?

Can you win without the scaremongering tactics that replace the truth in every single Labour campaign?

Are you a decent enough human being to reject the nasty innuendoes that Labour throw about in every single campaign?

We shall see...

Well if Taylor is there don't count on it. I hope to bump into him up there. When out leafleting.

That's the first time i've seen Labour out during this by-election

Woodend Lane Resident said...

Tom, they have been swarming around for days. They are doing a full canvass. The Conservatives cannot sit back on this one and you must launch a full campaign if you want to take this seat.

Tom Hatton said...

Wood End Lane Resident: we're absolutely not sitting back on it. You will have heard from us by now i'm sure and we're absolutely confident that the efforts of our activists will pay off.

The fantastic result Peter got at the last election showed that.

HE WAS RIGHT! said...

The Tories lost their soul along time ago and have now joinned the forces, that want to destroy our way of life. Tories want the same, mass immigration. He was Right!

'Until a third of London or a third of Birmingham are coloured.' That interview was 33 years ago, what will Britain's cities look like in another 33 years.
No modern British politician has a thousandth of Powell's guts or integrity, or anything approaching his intellect.

Tom Hatton said...

Nationalist. I think you're confusing race with culture. Multiculturalism has failed - multiracialism hasn't. Is your problem one of seeing brown and black faces on British streets or seeing different cultures take over areas?

Oh, and Powell wasn't all that great.

White Flight. said...

Multiracialism not failed. Where do you live may I ask. This guy lives with his head up his arse.
Multiracialism not failed.

Anonymous said...

It's not failed if you don't mind vast areas of Britain being taken over by immigrants. But white flight victims will tell you a different story.

KQ said...

I fled Whalley Range to escape - now I run the council. Mistakes at governmental level have been made regarding immigration.

Nationalist said...

TH, race isn't everything by any means but it does play a significant part in cultural and national identity, and how people relate to themselves and their own and other races. It's the biggest cause of division on the planet, the powderkeg that is the US being the best example.
I'd steer well clear of this issue if you've got any political ambitions at all, just like yellow Ted Heath and every Conservative of any rank for the last 45 years. Honesty on this topic is anathema to the politically correct.

1 2 3...and you're under said...

Repeat after me:
There is no connection whatsoever between race and culture.
There is no connection whatsoever between race and culture.
There is no connection whatsoever between race and culture.
There is no connection whatsoever between race and culture.

Birds of a feather said...

Tom's moving to Glodwick next week to prove that race doesn't exist.

A full day's work then canvassing said...

Great work from Rob, Peter and the rest of the Tory team so far. Two leaflets out, and a third on its way. Labour may be able to rouse some of their councillors, union layabouts and malingerers to leaflet en masse but the public have woken up to their lies. In Stalybridge & Hyde there was a 8.5%swing to the Tories, and even though at the national level, they couldn't quite command a majority, it was the biggest swing in modern times.

So come on Labour, get your workshy activists out on the streets. It's the only work they ever do.

True Blue Tories educate Tom on Enoch Powell. Or get him a resident in Moss Side.

Tom Hatton said...

Look - there is nothing Tory about racism. There is a massive problem with immigration - namely the systematic destruction of our Christian culture by immigrants and militant atheists.

Race is used by skinheads to exploit community tensions. Take America for example - a truly conservative country - they have a fiercly patriotic and American culture despite being masive;y racially diverse.

We have Billy Bragg coming to help in our campaign in Longdendale. He is going to give a free performance and balloons and treats for the kids.

There's nothing Labour about racism either. Apart from the fact that they hate white people.

Nationalist said...

TH, I admire you as a young man who engages in the democratic political process, unlike massive numbers of your ignorant, apathetic generation (ageist but true). But you cannot seriously be suggesting that America isn't riven with ethno/cultural hostility and polarisation. Outside of the major cities, where there is limited mixing, many areas are virtually completely segregated along racial lines.

I hope you remember to declare his nominal wages on the return of election expenses.

Not expecting Denton's own Mick Hucknall as well? He is a 17% owner of ASK property developements which got the contract to build and develope the area around the Ashton magistrates and which donated £5000 to Labour in about 2004, so he could be expected to come to help his Labour mates.

Another great leaflet from Rob and the Longdendale Conservative team about the proposed new Tesco.

Labour may try and blitz Longy over the next month but it's the Tories who have been consistently working in the ward for over 18 months now.

Open your eyes, look at the bigger picture said...

Just don't believe everything they tell you, look at the bigger picture. They go to war with Muslim nations blow them all to hell, then they say 'come to Britain and claim asylum.'

Just go on watching Eastenders, thats a laugh the eastend of London is totally non-English now!

Conservative councillors convicted and jailed for massive postal vote fraud. These b@stard postal votes are a scam. I rang through my voter registration to Tameside yesterday and the last question on the automated service tries to encourage you to become a postal voter. It is so feckin corrupt!

Give Tom some help said...

Come on you rotten Tories last night you left Tommy Hatton all on his own with 16 Labour workers on the car park, ok it was a bad night and Lady Knighton would have got her hair wet and a few suits got drenched.
The fact is the Labour team went out and worked in the rain got a few hundred Labour promises and few more postal voters, while little Tommy sat on his own on the car park, and you wonder why the Tories do so bad in Tameside.
