Law graduate fighting for life after confronting gang of yobs

A University graduate was fighting for life last night after being attacked by a gang of teenagers in the street. Dave Burns was surrounded by the youths only hours after three teenagers were given life for beating Garry Newlove to death in an alarmingly similar attack. In a chilling echo, Mr Burns, 26, was also punched in the face and crashed to the ground where he suffered severe head injuries. Last night his condition was described as "critical" by doctors at a special neurological unit. The attack took place at the junction of Langfield Crescent and Malvern Avenue in Droylsden, Tameside, Greater Manchester - just 20 miles from Mr Newlove's hometown of Warrington - shortly after 8.30pm on Sunday. Mr Burns, who recently graduated with a law degree, had been verbally abused by a gang of teenagers as he walked home from the Strawberry Gardens pub after watching the Manchester football derby. Regulars there had been joined by boxing star Ricky Hatton. Neighbours said youths have been a constant menace drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis in the streets. As he walked down the street with his friends, Kevin Moore, 24, and Ian Moore, 26, it is believed a gang of around eight youths began shouting "baldy" at Mr Burns. The friends continued down the road and arrived at their destination. There, they discovered that the youths had been causing problems outside earlier in the evening. They went out to investigate and it was then the attack took place. Mr Burns became separated from his friends and was surrounded by around eight teenagers before one of them punched him in the face. He was taken to Tameside General Hospital and was later transferred to Hope Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detective Inspector John Chadwick, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This is an extremely serious assault that has left a man fighting for his life in hospital. "Although only one punch was actually thrown, this demonstrates how a single act of violence can have potentially fatal consequences. "I appeal to the conscience of the members of the group that surrounded the victim. "I believe that some of them may have actually tried to help him before running off and I look to them now to do the decent thing and come forward sooner rather than later." Three of the offenders are described as white and aged 17. One was about 6ft and of slim build. He was wearing a brown hooded top and riding a BMX bike. A second is described as being of slim build with a thin face. He was wearing a grey hooded zip-up jacket with the hood up. A third is described as being of stocky build with a shaven head. He was wearing a black tracksuit. The victim, who recently started work as an insurance fraud investigator, shares a home with his mother, Agnes, 60, and sisters, Catherine and Jane.

Time to organise folks!

Take the fight to the yobs.

But this is not the place to discuss tactics.

I aresdy did that and where did it get me, alright 14 yobs were convicted due to my evidence in court, but the punisments were pathetic. 12 months conditional discharge for actual bodily harm and three counts of common assault.
Three of the thugs involved in the violence against my family eventually went out and killed a man on the streets. It is not a good idea cofronting yobs on the streets.

You wonder why people take the law into their own hands.

I believe that one of the yobs that smashed my windows has since been sent down for trying to burn his own house down. I aready had three covictions against him, a three year ASBO, a supervision and surveillance programme, tagging, he will also be subject to rigorous assessments to tackle his offending behaviour, yet he can still find time to come to my house and smash my windows and try to burn his own house down.

Check this out, I received a letter from the youth offending team assuring me that there will be no more incidents with this little shit, it turns out that he was shouting threats at my step son going to work, and check this out, he was shouting these threats while standing outside the youth offending offices in Ashton.

It is difficult to identify the exact cause of the proliferation of these violent gangs of feral youth. Is it because unlike previous generations, they have been brought up without discipline because of liberal doctrine or is it because since Nu Lab relaxed licensing laws alcohol is readily available 24 hours a day and in supermarkets at unbelievably cheap prices?

I despair when I go to supermarkets late at night and see young people queuing at the checkout with the obligatory 24 pack of Fosters. No groceries or provisions – usually just booze and cigarettes. Welcome to Nu Labours ‘Cool Britania’!

Warning of 'Jeremy Kyle' future

A lack of father figures is creating a "Jeremy Kyle generation" of men with little chance of work and a high rate of criminality, the Tories have warned.
Shadow work and pensions secretary Chris Grayling also criticised the "monstrously inappropriate" example set by footballers and other celebrities.

Ministers had been "morally negligent" in their attitude towards helping young men, he added.

But the government said it was "committed" to providing opportunities.

Check this out.
I rang up my local councillor, Brian Wild just to tell him about the terrible violence that was directed at my family, I only got a few words out and he said "oh come on hurry up we know all this"
It is time for "Representation not hate" that is why, the biggest political campaign ever for Representation is coming to Dukinfield in the month of April.

He came to my house in the last elections with Taylor's leaflet, he did not even put the leaflet through the letter box but on a chair outside my front door.

I opened the door just has he was leaving and gave him the leaflet back, I guess I hurt his feelings and he has never forgotton it.
