Not exactly Tameside – but close enough. I found this watch while walking ‘up in t’hills’ near the disused quarry at Crowden, close to the home of Tameside Advertiser columnist Sean Wood. It is a Seiko Kinetic SQ100 sports watch and is in perfect working order, but has a strap pin missing – undoubtedly the reason it was lost in the first place. It can’t have been there a great amount of time because I am told kinetic watches stop when left dormant, however, it is likely to have been there at least a month because the date is out of sync and the time has not been adjusted to winter. It looks as if this watch would retail for about £400 so it is a substantial loss for someone. If by the smallest chance you have, or know anybody who may have lost this watch feel free to contact me with an accurate description and I will mail it to you. I am the true owner of this watch I was a gift from my boyfriend.
Its my f...... watch I paid good money for that watch and it fell off a the back of a lorry.
It looks like my watch actually still give it to a peasant I don't need it anymore.
