Allied Bakeries now recruiting

I recall the poster who uses the name Serpent Slayer saying he was struggling to find work. I passed the Allied Bakeries factory at Bredbury yesterday and saw this sign saying they are now recruiting. Click here to visit their website and see if there's anything which would be suitable for you. Even if there's nothing suitable at present, you could could fill in the 'vacancy alert' form and get to hear of positions as soon as they become available.

The factory with the vacancies is just over the boundary with Stockport, but it is easy to get to from most parts of Tameside.

I used to be a baker. It was a crap job but I kneaded the dough.

Thanks for that TC, I've applied for the Despatch thing but as they say they prefer someone with a forklift license I don't hold my breath.

The fact that I know I can be trained for virtually any job is unfortunately not enough in an oversized Labour market where employers can pick and choose from hundreds of candidates.

If a job is easy to get its because its crap paid and you get abused to death. I have skills and looking for work its funny how i can apply for these "crap" jobs and hear nothing back but if its skilled beyond my means I get an interview. I have a case in point right now but i am not going to share that info around here. keep up the good work!

You wouldn't find me working for Allied Bakeries. Check a Kingsmill loaf and you'll notice the logo for HFA Halal Assured. I don't care whether this is because it has halal slaughtered animal ingredients or simply because it is free from non-halal ingredients. Any company catering for the needs of Europe's new muslim population in this way is the enemy.

Kingsmill are grovelling to keep sales up. If there were only 5000 Muslims in Britain (what a beautiful thought) they'd be told where to get off by parliament, manufacturers, the general population et al, re banking, their barbaric slaughter methods, polygamy, mistreatment of women and everything else. But there are now masses of them and as the Muslims have known since the 7th century, it's a numbers game. Consequently the authorities and many of the British are too scared or selfish to upset them. Why would the Muslims change tactics that have worked so well for so long globally.
