HGVs on Matley Lane

There has been a recent debate on this blog on the subject of  HGV's travelling down Matley Lane in Hyde. I think this short video proves that HGVs do indeed travel down this lane which is totally unsuitable for such vehicles. But in mitigation for the truck drivers who end up blocking this single lane road, I suspect many use the 'alternative route' feature on their Sat Navs when they get live traffic updates warning of long queues on the M67.
