That should be:

Merry Christmas To All Of Tameside's Citizens.

@Grammar Watch

"Merry Christmas To All Of Tameside's Citizens" should in fact be "Merry Christmas to all of Tameside's Citizens"

Strictly speaking, in titles you should not capitalise coordinating conjunctions.

If it's true that Councillor Taylor made those vile allegations on his blog then above all else you must make sure he is confronted in court and asked direct questions by your solicitor about them. If they're true he will be under extreme pressure to tell the truth (especially if screenshots exist) under oath in a court of law.
If these allegations are true, in my opinion he's made a very serious mistake in taking this alleged harassment issue to court as his own alleged conduct will be revealed. If his conduct has been lillywhite he has little to worry about, if half of what's being claimed is true he should be very concerned.

One law for them... said...

The harassment law was brought in to stop guiltless people (often women being stalked) being persecuted and annoyed by individuals.
I can't see how long running local political feuds, which appear to be, at least partially, tit for tat come under this legislation.
In my view the political element (I understand Councillor Taylor has a long history of 'anti-fascism' going back to the 70s) and the fact that BOTH sides have allegedly been guilty of misconduct may scupper this case.
The police should also be asked why they can spare an Inspector to regularly visit Mr West's house on such trivial matters. They weren't so keen to send ANY officer's to deal with the decades long campaign of persecution against mentally retarded local man David Askew by gangs of thugs, which eventually resulted in his death. Perhaps if Mr Askew had been a high ranking Labour councillor his case might have received more attention.

Christmas Day is celebrated as a major festival and public holiday in countries around the world, including many whose populations are mostly non-Christian. In some non-Christian countries, periods of former colonial rule introduced the celebration (e.g. Hong Kong); in others, Christian minorities or foreign cultural influences have led populations to observe the holiday. Countries such as Japan and Korea, where Christmas is popular despite there being only a small number of Christians, have adopted many of the secular aspects of Christmas, such as gift-giving, decorations and Christmas trees.

Notable countries in which Christmas is not a formal public holiday include China, (excepting Hong Kong and Macao), Japan, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Thailand, Nepal, Iran, Turkey and North Korea. Christmas celebrations around the world can vary markedly in form, reflecting differing cultural and national traditions.

Police Constables OK, but you should get your solicitor to ask the question at the trial why someone of the rank of Inspector (and crucially, apparently THE SAME Inspector) has repeatedly been round to your house over such trivial matters.
I find it difficult to believe an ordinary member of the public making a complaint about such a relatively trivial offence would get the same level of instant, persistent and high level police action (Mr Askew and his mother CERTAINLY didn't).
How many times has an Inspector visited you in total and was it always the same one?

The latest party leader poll ratings provided another devastating blow for Ed Miliband. He's a full 15 points behing David Cameron, despite their actual parties being neck and neck. Astonishingly he's also behind the disadtrous Nick Clegg. Most sifnificant of all Mr Miliband's poll readings as Labour party leader are worse than Gordon Brown's lowest ever score.
All this in the middle of the worst recession in living memory and massive government cuts when any, even utterly mediocre, opposition would normally soaring in the opinion poll ratings.
He may be the 'union's chosen man' but he's a Marxist intellectual, no leader, has zero public appeal and his day's would be numbered but for the utter dearth of talent in the Tony Blair deserted husk that is New Labour.

I find these allegations very difficult to believe. Labour councillors in Dukinfield are known for their probity, integrity, honesty and 100% committment to their constituents. They have an unblemished record of unconditional loyalty to the community, and of selfless devotion to members of the public, who they hold in the highest regard and serve without fear or favour. They are, and always have been, financially transparent and accountable - declaring their outside interests without hesitation. They are amongst the most decent and thoroughly trustworthy people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, displaying a range interpersonal skills rarely seen among public servants these days. Labour councillors in Dukinfield are most certainly value for money; in fact, one is tempted to say that, if anything, they are actually underpaid. And one final point, and this is just my opinion, surely the time has come when we as a society should reward such fine public servants with at least an MBE, if not a knighthood.

That's exactly what they are, allegations. But if there's any truth in some of the more relevant and serious ones, such as a main post on Councillor Taylor's own blog with accompanying picture of a child being led away, and a vile, fabricated headline underneath as has been stated, then I would expect Mr West's solicitor to ask the councillor about that in court. If it's true I wouldn't want to be in Councillor Taylor's positon on the receiving end of such questions under oath. It's hard to believe a senior councillor would post something like that, perhaps the police should be informed as they seem to have plenty of senior, spare manpower to deal with issues related to him.

Brazil has officially overtaken Britain as the world’s sixth biggest economy in an economic boom based largely on manufacturing — while the traitors in charge of this country continue to strip our nation of all its industrial capacity.

New figures from the Centre for Economic and Business Research’s annual world economic league table, revealed that Britain was now behind the South American nation in the world’s richest country rankings.

The figures hide, of course, the fact that the average Briton has a highest standard of living than the average Brazilian, but underline the importance of a sound manufacturing base as the core ingredient of any successful economy.

The Brazilian government has taken great pains to ensure that vital industries not only remain in that nation — though legislative restrictions and inducements — but that they continue to grow and expand.

Brazil has a sophisticated technology-based industry which includes sectors as diverse as submarine, aircraft and consumer goods manufacturing.

Brazil is also involved in space research and has invested in a satellite launching centre and helped with the construction team for the International Space Station.

State-encouraged industries include ethanol production, car manufacturing (no less than ten major car factories flourish in that nation), and deep water oil research amongst many others.

In contrast, decades of British governments, Tory and Labour alike, have presided over the almost complete destruction of British industry, and the exportation of almost all pioneering British technological expertise to the Far East.

In addition, the British establishment has continued to pour endless billions down the drain in EU membership, foreign aid, illegal and immoral international wars, International Monetary Fund subsidies and banker bailouts.

The difference between Brazil and Britain’s economies is apparent and vast: the Brazilians have ensured that their government acts in the national interest, while the British people have continuously voted for a vile nest of vipers in Westminster who seek nothing less than the total destruction of our nation at all levels.

The work of the traitors in the House of Treason has already plunged Britain below a second world nation like Brazil. Let us all pray that the coming year brings about a change in the fortunes of our nation, before it sinks ever lower into the Third World.

There's a woman that lives on Concord Way in Dukinfield. She tells people that she moved up north from London, because immigrants were eating cat food.
She had a leaflet posted to her the other week, with a list of Labour Councillors that had been convicted for molesting children.
Well she went mad on the phone "how dare you slander Labour Councillors like that"
You come across some strange Labour voters in Duki.

My local councillor is a paragon of virtue, he is well educated, honest, has impeccable manners and is an absolute gentleman. He helps the old folk with an annual Christmas party. He helps the youngsters with employment advice and moral guidance and he helps the less fortunate with advice on benefits and citizenship matters. He is an all round nice man and the other two councillors, Brian and Jackie are wonderful people too. That is the reason they always get re-elected despite some of the most vile smear campaigns directed at them ever witnessed in Tameside.

What I find very tedious is Mr West showing a film and claiming Cllr John Taylor is violent. What he fails to see is that the majority of people would react in the same way if followed down the street with some nutcase filming. It's not violent but a normal reaction. West needs to move on

Dukinfield Trade Unionist, the 'reason' they get re-elected is because they wear a red rosette. Mass apathy and brainlessness ensure about 1200 votes (out of about 9000 electors per ward) get them in comfortably. The worst Tory opposition in the country also helps.
I don't know if you're being ironic or are genuinely ignorant about Tameside Labour and their standards of behaviour.
