EU referendum: MPs told to vote against Monday's motion

The three big parties at Westminster have told their MPs to vote against a motion calling for a referendum to be held on UK membership of the EU.

Although 60 Tory MPs have signed the motion, Downing Street says it expects them to vote against it. The Liberal Democrats are set to order their MPs to vote against, and Labour leader Ed Miliband said he would also order his MPs to oppose the idea.

A referendum would be an "irresponsible and terrible distraction". Read more on the BBC website

de·moc·ra·cy: 1. noun, plural -cies: government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them.

Democracy and the concept of democracy makes for an interesting study but what is the relevance of this to the borough of Tameside? Well firstly our continued membership of the EU is something which affects us all in far more ways than many people suspect and it appears the big three political parties who between them have governed this country for longer than we can all remember only like democracy when it suits them.

The ‘Big Three’ say no to allowing us, the Proles a referendum on our continued membership of the EU. The Big Three do not like referendums. Referendums are the truest form of democracy but referendums have a nasty habit of upsetting the plans of the ruling elite, hence the reason why they avoid referendums on issues of crucial importance.

If the people of this country were given the chance to vote in referendums on issues such as restoring the death penalty, halting immigration, going to war on the pretext of lies, in all cases the elite would have their plans scuppered as referendums would almost certainly deliver the ‘wrong result’. To get around this ‘problem‘ our glorious leaders and their puppet masters from the lobby groups do everything they can to prevent true democracy in a bid to ensure the status quo remains firmly in place.

When Allan Young of the fledgling New Party contested the Ashton under Lyne parliamentary by-election in 1931, the New Party leader, former Labour and Conservative cabinet minister Oswald Mosley famously said when describing the Big Three, “they are all the same dog wearing a different collar”. When I look at the contempt in which the Big Three hold our opinions on the EU and other matters, I cannot help but think of how apt Mosley’s comment was then and still is now. Tameside Citizen

With Oswald Mosley as Prime Minister or even if only his proposals to tackle unemployment were implemented Britain would have found itself in much better shape in the 1930's.

Oswald Mosely was a man firmly grounded in conservative moral values combined with an understanding of the working man and the need for representation for all regardless of financial and class status.

When I look upon the steps of Ashton town hall I cannot help but be reminded of the Britain that could have been. A Britain run for the whole of the British people and not just a priveleged few and their gullible pawns.

Britain is unaware of what it lost before during and after the great European civil war.

One only hopes that one day Britain will throw off the shackles (or should that be shekels?) of its cultural and economic slavery.

The children of Jarl that walked the northern wastes of the highest Thule continue their blood in us and our Germanic, Gaelic and Scandinavian brothers. The last born sons and daughters of Heimdall were not molded so as to die on their knees.

The three main parties' definition of the word democracy is, 'We know best.'
They are chronically arrogant, but they would of course be powerless to do anything if the apathetic, ignorant, brainwashed masses got off their backsides and got involved in the democratic process and asserted their power.
The establishment gambles that their decades long zombification experiment has worked and that enough people will just continue with their dumb, spineless acceptance mentality.

It's not just the apathetic, thick, parasites or gutless voters, massive numbers of foreigners, particularly from commonwealth countries are allowed to vote. These communities hold sway in an increasing numbers of constituencies with their huge 'community' block vote and extremely high percentage turnout. Labour in particular pander to these groups who prioritise their own interests and often know and care nothing about what's best for Britain re the EU or anything else. Can you imagine such communities voting for ANYTHING that's going to make immigration of their friends and relatives more difficult, it's absurd. Anyone who disagrees is demonised as a racist or similar.

What's the point in voting for an MP if they're then told how to vote by the leader of the party on an issue like this, where it's indisputable that the vast majority of people want a referendum. They should be representing their constituents not slavishly obeying leadership diktats and/or looking after their careers. Parliament is now choc full of such people.

With this test someone can find out if he/she has psychopatic tendensies. Do the Psychopathy Checklist yourself here:

Note: between 30 and 40 means you're in high risc of becoming (or already are) a psychopath. However, only a few individuals ever (worldwide) reached the highest score of 40!

Also try to be honest .. it's anonymous anyway.

- Dr. Hare is a professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia, and has researched psychopathy for more than twenty years. The following is his well-known and implemented psychopathy checklist. -

- For each characteristic that is listed, the subject is given a score: 0 for "no," 1 for "somewhat," and 2 for "definitely does apply." (Please note that Dr. Hare does not advise that the layman use this checklist for "diagnosing" friends and family; this checklist, however, does give you a good idea how it is used). -

1. GLIB and SUPERFICIAL CHARM -- the tendency to be smooth, engaging, charming, slick, and verbally facile. Psychopathic charm is not in the least shy, self-conscious, or afraid to say anything. A psychopath never gets tongue-tied. They have freed themselves from the social conventions about taking turns in talking, for example.

2. GRANDIOSE SELF-WORTH -- a grossly inflated view of one's abilities and self-worth, self-assured, opinionated, cocky, a braggart. Psychopaths are arrogant people who believe they are superior human beings.

3. NEED FOR STIMULATION or PRONENESS TO BOREDOM -- an excessive need for novel, thrilling, and exciting stimulation; taking chances and doing things that are risky. Psychopaths often have a low self-discipline in carrying tasks through to completion because they get bored easily. They fail to work at the same job for any length of time, for example, or to finish tasks that they consider dull or routine.

4. PATHOLOGICAL LYING -- can be moderate or high; in moderate form, they will be shrewd, crafty, cunning, sly, and clever; in extreme form, they will be deceptive, deceitful, underhanded, unscrupulous, manipulative, and dishonest.

5. CONNING AND MANIPULATIVENESS- the use of deceit and deception to cheat, con, or defraud others for personal gain; distinguished from Item #4 in the degree to which exploitation and callous ruthlessness is present, as reflected in a lack of concern for the feelings and suffering of one's victims.

6. LACK OF REMORSE OR GUILT -- a lack of feelings or concern for the losses, pain, and suffering of victims; a tendency to be unconcerned, dispassionate, coldhearted, and unempathic. This item is usually demonstrated by a disdain for one's victims.

7. SHALLOW AFFECT -- emotional poverty or a limited range or depth of feelings; interpersonal coldness in spite of signs of open gregariousness.

8. CALLOUSNESS and LACK OF EMPATHY -- a lack of feelings toward people in general; cold, contemptuous, inconsiderate, and tactless.

9. PARASITIC LIFESTYLE -- an intentional, manipulative, selfish, and exploitative financial dependence on others as reflected in a lack of motivation, low self-discipline, and inability to begin or complete responsibilities.

10. POOR BEHAVIORAL CONTROLS -- expressions of irritability, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression, and verbal abuse; inadequate control of anger and temper; acting hastily.

Another night of catastrophic electoral failure for Fat Griff's hapless boneheads.

The Eccles by-election was only really notable as the fascist party appear to have tried a new tactic in a bid for votes - by nominating what appears to be a drunken stripper as a novelty candidate (see link above).

The good people of Eccles were never going to be taken in by this cynical attempt to cheapen the electoral process and decisively elected a serious candidate from a mainstream party.

The Bromley result of a 1.4% share of the vote is actually higher than the most recent national opinion poll which registered BNP support. In that poll the BNP currently enjoy the support of just 1% of the UK population - well behind UKIP who are on 5%.

Local boneheads must now be wondering if they will ever win again in a UK election above the parish level. Fascism, like feudalism and cotton mills, looks increasingly like the stuff of history books.

BNP Meltdown, what did I tell you about a pattern, it's more like a carbon copy: 9000 electorate, 25% turnout, Labour get 1200 or so and win. That's 1200 out of 9000 or about 13% of the total electorate, meaning 87% DIDN'T vote Labour. Which sums up just how far Red Ed is from motivating Labour's supposed core support. If he can't get them out in the middle of a recession and the 'Tory cuts' he'd better pray the economy doesn't recover anytime soon. Pathetic, and the worst leader of a political Party since Michael Foot, but then who else is there? Labour is truly a talent free zone. Blair's gone, Scotland's going SNP, the Boundary Commission are putting the boot in and equalising the constituencies, they're going to need a miracle and it really would BE one if that nasal voiced Marxist crank ever won a general election.

A lot of people are very pissed off about Cameron, Clegg and Miliband trying to block a referendum on the EU. A lot of people are very pissed off at not being able to get a job because of the flood of immigrant cheap labour. It's turning to frustration and anger as it becomes blatantly obvious the powers that be have got an agenda that's increasingly removed from what vast numbers of Brits want for their country.
Labour drag out the usual suspects, i.e people linked to the party and unions and their friends and relatives who live in the ward, OAPs, immigrants, lefties and thickos, most of them signed up to postal votes. All that and they can still only drag out 10% or so of the voters. I wonder how many normal members of the public bothered to turn out in what is a rock solid Labour area, two hundred?
You forgot to mention Labour's vote was down a massive 650 since May.

I think he is, also, a closet supporter of nationalists in the BNP. What's that saying? "The lady doth protest too much me thinks."

Lee Harvey Oswald did it, he only got the job in the book depository a few weeks before. He heard about it from a family friend, a normal Dallas housewife and definitely NOT a Mossad or any other kind of agent, who'd heard about the vacancy by chance and told Oswald as she knew he was out of work.
After working there for a couple of weeks he read in the local paper that Kennedy's motorcade would drive right past his new place of work.
He was an attention seeking crank with a long history of getting involved in, usually left wing, extremist politics and had even lived in Russia for a time where he met his wife.
If it was some highly complex set-up involving Oswald as the fall guy, everyone in on it would have to have kept absolutely silent for fifty years, which is nonsense. They'd also have to have known, presumably by the use of clairvoyance, that the family friend would mention the job vacancy and that he'd take it, all this just 37 days before the assassination, so much for precision planning.
And crucially, they'd have to be able to predict precisely how an extremely UNpredictable and erratic person like Oswald would behave before, during and after the killing.

SerpentSlayer said...

I think he sounds like the perfect stooge. Kennedy was no friend of communism and it is highly likely that Oswald could have been contracted for the job while staying in Russia.

After being contracted, he sees the opportunity and takes it. A boost for Communism and Israel, whether Israel was behind it or not.

I've made another blog post, see link above.

Dragnet said...

Read this book, you are 100% wrong.
Read 'Case Closed' by Gerald L. Posner, the man the conspiracy theorists love to hate because they can't disprove his comprehensive and rationally built case.
It demonstrates how Oswald's fundamentally warped personality, frustration's and failures over many years led to the morning of 22 November 1963.
Start from a neutral standpoint and try to accept that a particular group that you, perhaps partly justifiably, don't like, might not be behind everything.

H Robinson said...

Oswald was told about the job by a friend of his wife Marina, Ruth Paine, who had in turn heard about it by chance from her friend Mrs Frazier, whose son Wesley worked at the book depository, none of which has ever been disputed.
So much for highly organised international conspiracies.

Read this book, no-one has ever demolished Gerald L. Posner's book (AND the documentary based on it). It systematically dismantles every conspiracy theory about Kennedy by a precise examination of Oswald's erratic, often failed existence and, crucially, the series of, often random and inconsequential, events that led to him working in Dallas in November 1963.
In April, in Dallas, he had attempted to assassinate a retired right-wing American general with the same rifle and narrowly missed because the bullet deflected off a window frame. Such unpredictable, unbalanced people are the least suitable for a precision planned frame-up.
The Oswalds only moved to Dallas in the first place because his mother and brother Robert already lived there, another small detail always omitted by the conspiracy theorists.

Gaddafi was a bedoin, his parents lived in a desert tent, he said he would ensure everyone had a house before even his own parents, in the papers it was reported as " Monster Gaddafi refused to even house his own parents ".

What it shows is how the mindbenders can distored peoples minds via disinformation, they control the UK populations minds, democracy is a total sham.

Now let us get to the facts about the former Libyan "dictator" Muammar Gaddafi:

1. There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free for all its citizens.

2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law.

3. Home considered a human right in Libya – Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent.

4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family.

5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans were literate. Today the figure is 83%.

6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms – all for free.

7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance.

8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price.

9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 per liter.

As for the copy / pasted list above that is floating around on Facebook, almost every dictatorial, authoritarian nation on the Earth tries to represent itself as the greatest, happiest, wealthiest, most all around awesome place there is. Just look at North Korean propoganda. And then you scratch the surface and see the violence inherent in the system. People tortured, killed and/or disappeared for daring to say that it isn't all that awesome there.

Still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest, eh?

Well what can I say; I am new to this site and what an interesting blog it is. I particularly like the posts that explain the typical characteristics of a psychopath. Whether they dominate politics or not, I have no idea lol. In all my years in the BNP I can honestly say I only met one genuine, certifiable psychopath, and he wasn't called Griffin. His name was Hindley.

Who let NG into nationalism? said...

The Trojan Horse is a tale from the Trojan War about the stratagem that allowed the Greeks finally to enter the city of Troy and end the conflict. In the canonical version, after a fruitless 10-year siege, the Greeks constructed a huge wooden horse, and hid a select force of men inside. The Greeks pretended to sail away, and the Trojans pulled the horse into their city as a victory trophy. That night the Greek force crept out of the horse and opened the gates for the rest of the Greek army, which had sailed back under cover of night. The Greeks entered and destroyed the city of Troy, decisively ending the war.

The main ancient source for the story is the Aeneid of Virgil, a Latin epic poem from the time of Augustus. The event does not occur in Homer's Iliad, which ends before the fall of the city, but is referred to in the Odyssey. In the Greek tradition, the horse is called the "Wooden Horse" (Δούρειος Ἵππος, Doúreios Híppos, in the Homeric Ionic dialect).

Metaphorically a "Trojan Horse" has come to mean any trick or stratagem that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or space. It is also associated with "malware" computer programs presented as useful or harmless to induce the user to install and run them.

Fact: Gaddafi did some good things for his country and people.
Fact: He was a despotic tyrant who committed myriad atrocities, human rights abuses and millions of his people lived in a state of fear and oppression.
Fact: International interests wanted rid of gaddafi for their own reasons that had nothing to do with either of the above.

Aluman, stop backing Griffin it makes you look ignorant of what's going on in the BNP. The only traitors to nationalism are the current upper ranks of the party.

19 March 2012 West v Taylor case.
Those methods used by Councillor John Taylor since 2006. will be put before the court.
His false statements, and his incitement methods, put Phil Woolas to shame.
One thing for the records, Councillor John Taylor won't come out of this looking good.
Those that believe in JUSTICE! should be there to listen to the vile methods used against the BNP Candidate in Dukinfield, by Cllr John Taylor and his Searchlight helpers.
Witness has come forward in relation to leaflets with Taylor's vile allegations on them.

Phil Woolas did not say that his political opponent was approaching children in the park.
Councillor John Taylor did in 2008 on his website, about his BNP opponent in Dukinfield.
Then he wonders why someone calls him a "Nasty, vile, man!

If someone has alleged that, you should take legal advice irrespective of the results of the court case.
You must ensure that your accuser is questioned about such a vile allegation on oath. If true he'll have to admit it or commit perjury.
If proven the court would be bound to consider it as part of the defence case.

Shocking if true that a senior councillor would use such utterly vile methods on his website.

I never expected them to vote for a referendum but this is a positive development. The Tory party are split and the bulk of the M.Ps have shown their utter contempt for democracy.

We now have concrete and publicly known evidence of the political elite's contempt for the opinions of their kinsmen and our foreign guests.

I attempted to blog about it but almost ended up putting my laptop through a wall due to ridiculous glitches deleting a good five hundred words I had written. Must be more interference from the 'fates', maybe their is something I have overlooked and I need to think it over first.

How can I manage my own anger?
Buy time
When you feel the first surge of anger boiling up inside you, pause for a moment. Think about what has made you angry, think about the consequences of exploding in a rage and then choose how to respond.

Even in the middle of an argument, it’s not too late to take a deep breath and choose to express your feelings differently. Give rational thinking time to kick in.

•Count to ten before you act.
•Drop your shoulders and breathe deeply to help you relax - your instincts may be telling your body to get ready to fight, but your rational self can reverse this message by telling your body to chill out.
•If you feel the urge to throw something or hit out, remove yourself from the situation and try taking it out on something soft like a cushion that you won’t damage and which won’t hurt you.
•Try screaming if it won’t disturb people near you or scream into a pillow to release your tension.
•Talk yourself down – imagine what your calmest friend would say to you and give yourself the same advice
•Imagine yourself in a relaxing scene.
•Distract yourself or take yourself out of the situation that made you angry - read a magazine, do a crossword, listen to soothing music, go for a walk.
•Pour out how you feel in writing or redirect your energy into another creative activity.
•Offload to a friend who will help you get perspective on the situation.

SerpentSlayer said...

Thanks for the advice, what I did is put my laptop to one side and distract myself. There are years gone by when it would have ended up further away than perched against my chair!

I am fairly in control of my anger now compared to when I was a teenager, I find it like most of my flaws to be more useful now than if I was born without them.

My anger helps me to do things I rarely see others do, it helps me speak about poltics, run for miles without getting tired and present myself as more dangerous than I am in confrontations.

With it tamed I find myself armed with a powerful weapon to be used in any ideological struggle.

Loki is probably relevent. I fully believe that these situations are sent to test and improve us.

This is opposed to the Christian 'devil' which is purely a bad thing to people would prefer a world where an all powerful god protects them from all harm no matter how minor.

A hard life makes for a hard people, we need to make massive changes within the next few generations to ensure that all people are skilled and capable of doing more than buying and consuming goods.

What`s wrong with the UK full stop.

Over 65% of workers are not capable
of doing the job they are paid to perform.
Few skills exists compared with 35 years ago, hence the reason why it takes 3 to decide how to do a job,and it becomes almost a meeting agenda to
.
How many times do you see 3 or more grouped around a site trying to fathom out the answer.
Years ago people could handle their job,and decided themselves on the manner and method required to complete the issue.
With a great deal of experience this is my conclusion why the UK is
knackered.

Have you heard the government's latest proposal to improve the lot of the British worker:
Make it easier for employers to sack people, especially those who are not 'productive' enough.
Brilliant, in the middle of a recession with floods of cheap foreign labour already making it extremely difficult for millions to find work. Now they'll be able to sack you for not slaving hard enough for your £6 an hour. or refusing to work Sunday/Bank Holiday etc for flat rate.
Third World workers imported en masse by Labour (the party founded to uphold the rights of the British working class, what a fucking joke) have destroyed pay and conditions for millions. Now OUR government want to destroy our basic employment rights, to give exploitative employers EVEN MORE of the whip hand.
The entire legislature are nothing more than scum traitors and all three parties only vary in the WAYS they want to betray their own country and their countrymen.

This blog has really opened my eyes to the huge number of child molesters currently within the mainstream parties.

If the BNP had 1% of the paedophiles that the big 3 parties have in their ranks the media would kick up a huge fuss, but as it is all we hear is silence from the MSM.

You do realise that the only reason ANY person appears on the above website is that they have been caught, or is that too much to take in?

No labourite here, but constantly posting links to it (then pretending to be someone else amazed by the 'revelations') just makes it appear that you have no real argument to make and are content with throwing mud and insults.

Do you not think the Tory loving press would be all over it if noncery and leftyism went hand in hand?

Poor attack strategy...

Yes but the Deputy Leader Of the Council, plays the game of insult. allegation, rumour, calling people scum candidates on his twitter account.
He incites violence against his political opponents on his blog, and the other website he had.
On the 19th of March 2012, he will have the perfect opportunity to justify the one rule system.
He accused the BNP of dumping rubbish then cleaning it up.

Besheavillion, there do seem to be a large number of elected representatives, particularly from Labour and the LibDems, in with convictions for child abuse.
A detailed statistical analysis would prove things one way or the other.
The LibDems in particular have proposed at their conferences etc reducing the age of consent to 14 and even 12. It does make you wonder about the motivation of anyone who wants to do that.
