So what is it you were saying about Global Warming………………..

The climate change ‘industry’ are going to have an increasingly difficult job selling their brand of taxation if this cold weather continues. I took the dog out this afternoon and it was genuinely freezing. I have never known the ponds on our walking route to freeze in November, neither has the hound - bless, but it didn‘t stop him trying to have a drink. I felt sorry for him as he was looking increasingly confused because despite the usual tongue movements no water was reaching his mouth. I love it when it is cold and clear but unfortunately for the poor and the elderly it can be a time of misery as they struggle to keep their homes warm as multi-national corporations now in control of the utility companies rake in the money as demand for gas and electricity skyrockets.

You’ve had it boyo! I am sat in the pod with the head of department watching this video of you blatantly ignoring the law by having an out of control dog in a public space and even worse without a lead or a collar. We are sending extra patrols into the area to track you down.

It is strange weather for November. Has anyone else heard anything about the Gulf Stream which has stopped which means we are likely to have the coldest winter in 1000 years?

If the gulf stream had stopped I think it might have been mentioned on the news.

It appears the Gulf Stream has slowed down or even stopped. The Times has the best article but I am not paying Murdoch to post it here.

You don't know how meteorology works!

The Met Office don't, ever since they were taken over by the global warming/cooling/climate change/make it up as you go along brigade.

ICI, Ashton Bros, Castrol, Gallgher's cigarette factory etc etc etc, now the Hallbottom Gate pub's been flattened as part of TMBC's ongoing plan to turn Newton into one solid mass of residential development. The closed treatment works on Park Rd is next. And that's just in ONE WARD.

The Gulf Loop Current is broken. Europe is heading for a mini ice age. Stock up on food and provisions while you can. This is no false alarm. Doubters watch this video and ignore my warning at your peril.

B******s. Weather is a massive and difficult to predict phenomena. The climate change nutters don't know what's going to happen long term anymore than anyone else. Ironically these are the same cranks who promote the insanity of windfarms etc which are monstrously inefficient and HAVE to be backed up by generated power. That means a combination of nuclear, oil, gas, etc. The government is hell bent on relying on the import of the last two from increasingly dodgy, unreliable and unstable parts of the world, despite the UK sitting on oceans of coal (as are many civilised, stable and friendly areas of the rest of the world). Clean coal tecnology using modern, more efficient extraction techniques is what Britain should be making use of as it guarantees us energy independence for the forseeable future.
