Call them what you will, but there is no denying they appear to be the only political party in Tameside who do political activism all year round. Some of the ‘also-rans’ should take note!
I have just returned from a distant land to discover many silly and repetitive posts so with the swing of an axe - I have chopped the lot. Apologies to the contributors who made decent points and whose posts were deleted in the mass cull.
TC you should take more of a control into the contents of this blog. Opinions yes, allegations, not really good for a site like this. We are not so keen to be reading through all the allegations. But need to be reading the opinions of sensible people. I'm sure that you will act upon this message.
The Conservative party work all year round too. They just don't shout about it as much as the Labour party. How they can say the Libs came third in Denton when they didn't even field a candidate beggers believe. OH! I forgot it is the Labour parties leaflet.More spin and lies
Yes but allegations made up-front, basis in fact, means you have details. Anyone can make an allegation. It just means if you've got the balls to put your name to them no?
I very rarely delete posts, but when I do it is quite a tiresome task and it takes about 45 seconds to delete an individual post. Considering there were over 100 posts and I have better things to do than sit on a computer for hours sifting through posts - many of which were crushingly boring, I made an executive decision to cull the lot which takes about two minutes. Apologies if you had worthwhile posts which were lost in the cull.
Anon, when I got past the thirtieth post I stopped reading and decided I was going to delete the lot. I didn’t read any allegations other than ‘the usual’. However, if you do ever come across inappropriate posts regarding any issue or individual, please email me at tamesidecitizen@gmail.com and I will delete them. If the problem becomes serious I will reintroduce comment moderation to weed out daft comments.

Nothing wrong with allegations. As long as they have some basis in fact.

Well done TC, light touch moderation is all that's needed.
