David Jones from Ashton under Lyne has had both his complaints to the information commissioner upheld. The case centres around the issue of TMBC and the local media conspiring to suppress news which they consider could have a negative effect on ‘community relations’. You can read the full ruling by reading this PDF document and by taking a look at the information commissioners website.

The Tories have removed the article about Andrew Gwynne from their web site, anyone seen the article on Liam's about John Bell and Richard Ashton, just a matter of time before hes in court and paying out damages.
Tameside Council shouldn't have complicated their 'dealings' with the local Press. TMBC were asked for information by Mr Jones, failed to explicitly deny they held recorded information and secondly failed to do so within the statutory time limits. Some might suspect they were playing for time. The Information Commissioner's decision has rightly gone against them thanks to the knowledge, awareness and determination of Mr Jones.
I believe Mr Jones has stood for election as a would be BNP Councillor in Ashton on several occasions. I doubt if I'd vote for them but at least SOMEONE is keeping an eye on the shysters in TMBC. Well done.
He has also stood as a Conservative candidate when Thatcher was in charge - this is far worse in my opinion.
As I always say "Bring it on". If Richard Ashton or John Bell wish to sue me or counter the claims I have made on my blog then they are more than welcome to do so.
What does it say at the end of the statement? the commissioners requires no remedial steps to be taken in this case.
That statement really sums up the compliant by a serial complainer with nothing better to do, stick to organising losing election campaigns Mr Jones, stop wasting our council tax.
Labour till i die (James) You nasty, bitter, failed, Candidate
Labour 'til I die, you're the expert on losing election campaigns and your bitterness is still manifest 17 months later. Your party is the expert on wasting tax and has a twelve and a half year record of spending us to the brink of disaster to prove it. The country's finances were in massive trouble long before the latest financial crisis.
You got booted off the gravy train because you deserved it and thr remnants of your desperate Party will soon follow suit.
The Commissioner's leniency does not alter the Council's guilt.
Cameron will not give the referendum he promised if elected on Europe, he like all the others knows there will be a massive NO vote and the the move to come out of the EEC will become an unstoppable event.
European leaders and the Americans will put him under immense pressure he will give in hes not got the balls for the fight.
Cameron's arse is going, true. But at least there's a chance he'll give the British people the referendum that ALL THREE Party's promised. The other two definitely won't because they are fucking liars.
Vote Tory if you like your MPs to steal from you, vote Labour or Lib Dem if you like to be stolen from AND lied to.
Cameron and his useless so called chancellor will not tackle the benefits scroungers none of them will, the system is now part of our culture and that's why thousands flock here to get on the hand outs.
Why do think the migrants in France don't claim asylum there, its because the french give them nothing, they want to come over here for a nice easy life living of the tax payers.
The Conservative started all this easy touch shit years ago when in power and Labour just carried it on, have a guess how much is spent on asylum seekers and others who have no right to be here.
I have the true figures its frightening and getting worse, we could modernise most of our schools with this cash and build at least twenty new hospitals or even better provide free care for the elderly and stop families selling their family home.
