GMP ‘let off’ rapists, violent thugs, burglars, robbers, arsonists and gun criminals with a caution but not Roy West

More than 15,000 criminals - including rapists - were let off with a slap on the wrist in a year, new figures reveal.Offenders cautioned also included other sex attackers, violent thugs, burglars, robbers, arsonists and gun criminals. But police say they only issue cautions where there is not thought to be any `ongoing risk to the public'.Figures obtained by the M.E.N. under the Freedom of Information Act showed Greater Manchester Police handed out 15,433 cautions, final warnings and reprimands in 2007, the most ever used by the force. Two rapes, believed to have been committed by people within their families, appear to be the most serious crimes where cautions were used. The figures showed 23 people were given a caution or the equivalent for `serious wounding' offences.A total of 6,064 adults and youths got a caution or similar for `less serious wounding'.Some 127 adults and youths received cautions or equivalents for burglary while one adult received a caution for an `aggravated' house burglary and 46 people got a caution or equivalent for robbery.According to the figures, 62 adults and children accepted cautions or similar for aggravated vehicle taking.Cautions or similar were also handed out for abstracting electricity (47), theft of vehicles (134), absconding from custody (5), attempting to pervert the course of justice (26), arson (34), kidnapping (four) and firearms offences (60). Eight people got a caution or equivalent for indecent assault. One adult was cautioned for sexual activity with a child. Some 24 people accepted cautions, reprimands or final warnings for other sexual offences, including grooming someone for sex.GMP has defended its use of cautions and specifically decisions to caution two adults for rape offences.Det Supt Phil Owen said: "The decision to issue a caution for rape is taken only after a full review of the case is made, consultation with the victim and the Crown Prosecution Service. Home Office guidelines state cautions should `in general' never be used for the most serious crimes. Children under 18 are now handed reprimands or more serious final warnings, both of which, like cautions, require them to admit their guilt.Last year the M.E.N. reported how GMP handed out 15,326 cautions or their equivalent in 2006, many for serious offences. Manchester Evening News

Sorry to go back to the Roy West case regarding his prosecution and conviction following an argument with his German neighbour but after reading the item above I feel that further comment needs adding. The facts are simple; Roy West, a man of impeccable character until Monday 16th Feb is arrested, charged and convicted for an offence which should never have reached court - according to both prosecution witnesses! Yet genuine vile criminals including child sex groomers, burglars, violent thugs and sexual molesters are let off with cautions without ever having to face a court of law. The whole thing stinks to high heaven and I am now totally convinced Roy West was prosecuted for entirely political purposes and in my opinion this is just the tip of the iceberg in relation to the politicising of the British judicial system. I suggest, especially after thinking about the proliferation of CCTV, ANPR, multi-agency data intercepts, compulsory ID cards, biometric passports and a whole raft of other intrusive ‘security’ initiatives ushered in by New Labour, that we, as a nation, are sleepwalking into a totalitarian state where free thinkers and opponents of the whims of the ruling elite will be ruthlessly persecuted by any means the ‘powers that be’ feel are appropriate. It has been said many times before but I will repeat that Orwell was right in every detail other than the year. Tameside Citizen

I suspect its a case of many court appearances in the past, and I wonder if the police and other agencies read what he post on here about them.

Anonymous said...

Mr Whiter than White can you name these court appearances?

Tameside Citizen said...

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am told that until Monday 16th Feb 2009 Roy West had no criminal record of any kind.? Surely a caution would have been appropriate in the West case, especially seeing as the neighbours pleaded with the police and CPS to drop the case. The partner of the original complainant admitted in court that she never wanted it to be brought before a court. Answer me one question, is it right that Roy West should be prosecuted for such a trivial offence when major league criminals are let off with cautions for far more serious offences?

I said I suspect please read, and I still suspect hes been to court maybe found not guilty or the case thrown out only he will know.
All points below are good ones he does look to have been picked on,but we only have one side of what I suspect is a very murky story.
This mans got history with the authorities.

Friedrich Nietzsche couldn’t have put that better Mr West.

Please answer this question to help determine the nature of your recent prosecution. Prior to February 16th 2009 were you of good character and free from any kind of criminal conviction either in Britain or overseas?

And yet: George Bush Sr, George W Bush, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Margaret Thatcher and Henry Kissinger, who, collectively are responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people, walk free.

What a world we live in, when people are jailed for using words, but those that rain bombs on innocents, are feted.

What do the hysterical 'Roy West is worse than Satan' headcases have to say about this shocking indictment of NewLabour's 'justice' system.

Under a BNP government these people would virtually all receive long mandatory prison sentences served in extremely spartan conditions. Many would be birched to teach them some humility and respect for the law and the law abiding. Child rapists and murderers would be executed.

I hate to admit it but it does seem west has been treated harshly on this occasion.

What you do will determine whether this nation lives or not, what you do - what you sacrifice - your activism, will determine whether you have a country in thirty or forty years time. And that is why we say, and that is why we demand, the right to be ourselves, the right to have our own language, have our own culture, have our own religion and not be forced to adopt the ways of foreigners - not be forced to adopt the ways of people with whom we share no bond. We demand the right to live in peace amongst our own people in our own country as every other nation on earth has that right as well. This is not radical, this is not extreme, this is in fact the most reasonable and moderate request which any person can make. Let us understand this. Let us shout it from the rooftops. The message which we carry is that if Japan has the right to be Japanese, if China has the right to be Chinese, if Saudi Arabia has the right to be Saudi Arabian, if Nigeria has the right to be Nigerian, if India has the right to be Indian, if Israel has the right to be Jewish, THEN BRITAIN HAS THE RIGHT TO BE BRITISH!!

Well said N (NG). The problem we have is corruption runs deep through the establishment and the general populace have little concern for the future. These two factors combine to create a sense of hopelessness amongst the patriots attempting to alert the masses as to their ultimate fate – but we are aware that within most of our lifetimes we will witness the re-birth of our nation or the absolute annihilation of our people, culture and traditions at the hands of our enemies – this motivates us to continue our struggle – despite seemingly overwhelming odds because we know if we lose this fight – we have truely lost everything.

Come on Roy lets start being honest lets look at the good character bit, you do have a history of racial abuse don't you.
What about the young girl in Hyde you racially abused, did your neighbours make some serious allegations about you that ended up in court.
Did New Charter housing prevent you from speaking to junior staff because you terrified them, did the local council prevent you from contacting some of their staff because you terrified them also.
We have seen many allegations on here about you including one of domestic violence, and you did admit to leaving your home around the time of the allegations.
Have you been accused of harassment by various local councillors and did one take legal action against you, with you agreeing not to contact him again, well documented on here again.
The more you dig the more you will find.

Even though i think the the prosecution was political, Tameside Citizen. Roy West admited the charges, and what he has been reported in saying was completly vile, to his neighbour.
He has played straight into Taylor's and his cronies hands, with this.
If Roy had denied the charges, it may have been hard to prove what he said in court. As there were no independant witnesses.
Who ever advised Mr West, did him no favours. As when Labour say the BNP and West are racist, and if he is still a member of the party, then they can not say they are not. As Roy admited the charges.

Roy Walker and Cllr Perry are both correct. West had his moment in the spotlight and he crumbled. West could have come out of this whole affair, which under close scrutiny was an unfair prosecution, as a tragic figure persecuted by the state for his un-PC views. However the reality is somewhat different. He is now a convicted racist with no political future and what must be more annoying for him is - he has gifted Wild, Taylor and Lane an easy trip back to the trough for years to come because with his somewhat bizarre but intense campaigning methods he actually kept them on their toes and forced them to do some real work in the Dukinfield ward for the first time in many years. The only advice I can give him now is to fade away with whatever dignity he has left intact. Whinging about the facts after he admitted guilt in court just makes him look a liar.

Wag, the BNP didn't FOOL anyone, we laid our policies out, fought a clean, hard campaign and increased our vote against some of the dirtiest methods ever used in a British election.
Extreme left-wing organizations shipped in to deliver 27500 smear leaflets to 5500 homes, manipulation of Labour's pet poodles at the Advertiser and bringing in what used to be the Church of England to spread blatant lies.
Roy West's conviction will not affect the BNP because WE'RE not clinging on to a failed and outdated ideology, we BELIEVE in what we're doing and will continue to put our message across to the British people.

Leave Mr West alone he is probably ill and its not coming across to most people,I once heard him on local radio with some woman who's name I cant recall, and I have seen most of his postings on here.
This is an educated guess looking at what he writes and what he says on radio, his repetitive behaviour on here is common in people with Asperger's Syndrome.
Here are some of the symptoms abnormalities of social interactions, problem relating to other people, narrow interest, poor social skills, preoccupation with special interest, Roy shows all of these characteristics.
Mr West will have suffered from Asperger's from childhood and that will also be why he will not be in full time employment or even part time employment, people with Aspergers can work but need some support, you have to be determined to want to work and work on your social skills.
Had this come out in court there may have been a different outcome it may never have even got to court, but if Roy did not share this information with his legal team nothing could be done, and its only my experienced well educated guess that hes got Aspergers.
He may just be a complicated young man,but I know he will do the same again soon.

People with Asperger syndrome often display behavior, interests, and activities that are restricted and repetitive and are sometimes abnormally intense or focused. They may stick to inflexible routines, move in stereotyped and repetitive ways, or preoccupy themselves with parts of objects.[15]

Pursuit of specific and narrow areas of interest is one of the most striking features of AS.[1] Individuals with AS may collect volumes of detailed information on a relatively narrow topic such as dinosaurs or deep fat fryers, without necessarily having genuine understanding of the broader topic.[1][5] For example, a child might memorize camera model numbers while caring little about photography.[1] This behavior is usually apparent by grade school, typically age 5 or 6 in the United States.[1] Although these special interests may change from time to time, they typically become more unusual and narrowly focused, and often dominate social interaction so much that the entire family may become immersed. Because narrow topics often capture the interest of children, this symptom may go unrecognized.[5]

OMG, I feel so guilty. He really has got it and I never realised. I am ashamed of my ignorance. I got carried away on a tide of euphoria following his conviction because I viewed him as a racist who needed destroying. The court should have been made aware of his condition before sentence was passed.

BUSTED FLUSH POLITICIANS SYNDROME:
These people often represent outdated and corrupt Parties that have completely run out of ideas and no longer believe in the principles and convictions that got them into politics in the first place. They cling desperately on to power as losing it would leave them in an utter vacuum bereft of purpose, their own hollowness exposed to reality. They will use any means no matter how dishonest to stay on what has simply become a gravy
train, without concern for the damage they are doing to their local area or country. They become arrogant, disinterested and scornful of the people they are supposed to represent and latch on to campaigns and causes to root out 'evildoers', i.e. anyone who stands up to them and threatens to remove them from their 'rightful' position, incapable of tackling the REAL issues and serving the people who elected them.

When you look around you at the state of our economy, consider the falling standards in our education system, think back to the money poured into unreformed public services that has wasted or even weigh up the consequences of the approaching energy gap time bomb, you could be forgiven for wondering if this Government is capable of doing anything well.

But the fact is there are some things this Government does well. There are some things this Government does very well indeed. The problem is nearly all of them concern measures that are designed to restrict our individual freedoms, infringe our civil liberties, invade our privacy and ever more closely monitor all our activities.

The latest example of the United Kingdom's transformation into a surveillance state is reported upon in The Sunday Times, as it is confirmed that:

The Government is building a secret database to track and hold the international travel records of all 60m Britons.

The intelligence centre will store names, addresses, telephone numbers, seat reservations, travel itineraries and credit card details for all 250m passenger movements in and out of the UK each year.

On non-white members in the BNP

"Blacks in the BNP? This is an area where there are two motives for suggesting the thing in question. A few individuals - the good-hearted but politically naive -think it would be a good thing because it would help us to overcome the 'racist' tag... Others - the enemy plants and the plain malcontents - know that it isn't really going to happen...
"The BNP's constitution expressly states that only individuals of British (i.e. English. Scots, Welsh and Irish) or closely kindred European stock may join as members. Not only do I not intend to try to change this fundamental rule, but I would vigorously oppose anyone else attempting to push for such a change..."
Nick Griffin (Identity magazine, December 2003)

Did anyone read that article? I think it is shocking what he did. Utter scum and yet Mike Whitley and Kath went to grandstand and intervene with their status by providing a character statement. Lynn Travis did the right thing by staying well out of things.

Another one for Liars, Buggars and Thieves methinks.

I am a South African. I had to leave my country which was once beautiful and now is a corrupt, despotic crappy place to live. With corruption and murder the order of the day. As whites who lived there we are demonized and called racists for wanting our own identity- this is called racial discrimination. We are fighting a low level war for survival in what has become a hostile country. If anything S Africa is a microcosm of what the world will become in the future

They realize that demographics combined with the West's insistence on cutural relativism will result in an islamic strangle-hold that will dominate every progressive nation in less than 2 generations. They are biding their time. And our governments coddle these cavemen like lap dogs. How many times did you hear Bush call islam the religion of peace after 9-11? If you have children, please consider the ramifications. There is a nigthmare waiting for them, and too many cowards leading the way.
