According to a senior BNP source, Dukinfield BNP candidate Roy West has been charged with a racially motivated offence. The text taken from the blog of the BNP deputy leader relating to Mr West is copied in its entirety below. If convicted - surely this would be the end of Mr West’s political career. Please remember - Roy West has been charged but has not been convicted of anything.Roy West, the BNP Candidate for Dukinfield (Tameside) was charged with Racially aggravated abuse. The alleged incident happened shortly after Roy's return from the RWB in August this year when he was in his garden putting up a Cornish flag he had bought at the RWB. His neighbour, who happens to be German, took exception to this and started to abuse Roy. During the following exchange of words, it is alleged that Roy uttered the “Racially aggravating” words “Remember Dunkirk!”.The result was that Roy was taken to the police station in Ashton u Lyne and interviewed. While absent his house was searched and items photographed. His disabled partner, for whom Roy is a carer, was told that one DVD he had in the house was “Racist”....a DVD about The Rt Hon Enoch Powell!He was bailed to October 3rd. He returned to the Police Station today and was charged.

There is something very sinister going on in Tameside. When Liam Billington got arrested on trumped up charges I was suspicious but following this incident with Roy West I am convinced.

Some religions that preach intolerance against women and homosexuals are at odds with Western values so they need to choose between Western values in a Western democracy or life in a land where their bigotry is accepted.
These charges have been dropped against Mr West it seems that common sense is the only winner in this matter. This matter has been resolved through being decent and respectful.
