Looks like the Tories are doing a good job in Stalybridge South against a huge Labour opposition. Doreen Dickinson is a fabulous councillor who always does her best for her constituents. I note the leaflet concentrates on the Huddersfield Road corridor and not where their core vote is up Mottram Rise.
Stalybridge South has three 'council' estates in its boundaries; Copley, Brushes, and Millbrook. If the Tories only appealed to Middle England, then this ward would be Labour.
PS: We hear so much about the hundreds of thousands of leaflets going out in Dukinfield, yet has anybody yet caught sight of one? maybe TC needs to get on the case?

What a wonderful day of support from friends and supporters from Batley and Dewsbury. I continue to send out thousands of my local leaflets to residents in Dukinfield..Representation not hate...very important.
Maybe Mr. West needs to show us all one of his leaflets so we can judge for ourselves his views? Maybe it will have a testimonial from the Holy Father on it?
West, if you're sending out 700 leaflets by post in Duki each week, then that's costing someone £168 each week in second class stamps alone, never mind envelopes.
Does the master race in Tameside have these kind of funds? That's costing nearly £9K a year...

Why would our chances be any different in Stalybridge than any where else? All parties have been embarrassed by members being accused of committing some offence in the past. Remember Paul Diggett(L), Kenneth Leadbetter(C), Roderick Rowley(BNP) and Bob Hargreaves(LD), the difference of course is they have all been found guilty. Remember innocent unless found guilty.
