Residents have their say on anti-social behaviour

Four hundred residents across Tameside will this week be given the chance to have their say on how police should deal with anti-social behaviour. The questionnaire is being delivered to homes in the crime hotspot areas across the division. It is designed to help residents not only tell police about their fears and experiences of local crime, but how they want their area policed. The questionnaire is being sent out as part of Operation Padlock 3, the multi-agency initiative tackling crime across Tameside, focusing on anti-social behaviour, and criminal damage. The twelve-week operation, which starts on 21 September, will also see more police, police community support officers (PCSO's) and Town Patrollers in the places where the most complaints have been received. This will be followed by activity from Licensing officers, Trading Standards and Tameside Councils Environmental Team.Sergeant John Kilgallon of Tameside police said: "We urge local residents to complete the questionnaire as it is a real opportunity for them to tell us the kinds of crime that directly affect them, such as large groups of young people, rubbish tipping and graffiti. The results of the questionnaire will give us a chance to hear what is affecting the neighbourhoods so we can tackle them directly.""As it is usually alcohol that fuels anti-social behaviour we'll also be clamping down on alcohol being drunk in public during the operation. Local parks will be targeted in particular as these attract gangs of youths."This operation is funded by the Police and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.

According to Cllr John Taylor, only recently have the drug dealers come to Dukinfield, and the gangs of yobs on Concord Way have only recently turned up. The fact is, that residents in the area have lost hope that anything will be done to stop the yobs. Taylor is not interested in listening to the concerns of the residents, he his obsessed with the local bnp man delivering leaflets than doing his job. Concord Way has been having this problem with underage drinkers for the last two years yet nothing gets done to stop the situation. Litter is everywhere on Concord Way. We should have voted for that bnp bloke.

New Labour soft on crime, soft on the causes of crime.

We read about old folk being attacked on the streets of Britain, filth walking free from court involved in violent crimes. No faith in the police or the courts with good reason. Our streets abandoned to the yobs and criminals and to hell with their victims. This is Britain today, Liberalism gone mad. Lets look at what makes the rat boy act like a scumbag.

I just thought I would say this: Political correctness helps to suppress nationalism and patriotism - and helps the EU to thrive and grow stronger.
