After reading the always informative website of Cllr John Taylor, it appears that Audenshaw Liberal Democrat councillor Karen Wright has agreed to ‘join’ Labour. Cllr Taylor has been very economical with facts about what exactly is going on with regards to this sensational scoop; does anyone reading this have any idea?I can confirm that Cllr Wright is registered as living in Dukinfield and that she is due to retire next year. Most will be aware of her unfortunate marriage breakdown that appeared to come about as a result of domestic violence, maybe this is a factor in her intention to retire from council duties next year, or is she planning to ‘retire’ from the Liberal Democrats and join Labour?

I remember the Wright's turnig up at Tameside court to give us support when I had to give evidence against two thugs.
Taylor also cliams that Liam Billington is now on the Taylor campaign Team. I love all this stuff.
It's strange that Liam Billington is now on John Taylor's campaign Team after what he has said about our friend Mr Wag on this blog. Can you clear this up Liam.

It is not true, although I don't know why he has started to launch an assault on me. Perhaps he got pissed off with my comments last night when I agreed with Tower Street resident?

Minor spats about full names aside, there is one question remaining. Is Cllr Wright retiring or shifting allegiance?
Since the breakdown of her marriage and the fall out there has been very little heard from Cllr Wright. In fact, it would be fair to say that she has gone to ground discharging no duties as a cllr.

On the 24/01/03 Cllr John Taylor sent me a letter in which he said the following. "In one of your letters you state that only 28 councillors have responded to you, this is quite a high precentage. However you may find that some councillors will not respond to you because the Liberals from Ashton are making it quite clear that you will be their candidate for the forthcoming elections.

Karen Wright has been quiet of late, perhaps the Lib Dems wanted Pete Wright instead? I am only suggesting, however I would take anything off Taylor's site with a pinch of salt, he has a tendency to lie quite a lot.
My request to be taken down from Taylor's site was successful. However I am now puzzled that Karen Wright is also off Taylor's site (more pork pies) and now he has recruited the Leader of the people's democratic republic of Mossley - Roy Etchells! This gets stranger by the minute.
Oh and Brian Wild is no longer a referee for the Gay World Cup! Tut Tut!

So it would appear that Taylor is creating excuses for his lies. Has Roy Etchells or Karen Wright joined Taylor's sole cause? I don't think so.
