Bear Fair at Portland Basin

If you go down to Portland Basin Museum you're sure of a big surprise. The museum has once again been taken over by teddy bears!
On Sunday, 29th July 2007, hundreds of teddies will arrive for a fun filled bear fair, organised by national bear company 'Bear Fairs and Events'. The event was first held in November last year and proved so popular that it is back, bigger and better. There will be around twenty teddy bear specialists selling a wide range of bears, plus you can see how teddy bears are made, join in a teddy themed craft and listen to teddy bear story telling.
If it is sunny you could even pack some sandwiches and have your own teddy bear's picnic by the canal. Why not bring your teddy bear along to join in the fun!
The bear fair is on Sunday, 29th July from 10.00am - 4.00pm and admission to both the museum and the fair is free.
