It was a year ago today
that I praised Tameside Council for their efficiency in dealing with a potentially lethal missing manhole cover.
TMBC were quick off the mark and placed an emergency cover over the hazard. However and quite disappointingly a year later the temporary cover - minus the cones still remains.
The question is when will a permanent solution - i.e. a proper manhole cover be installed at this spot to replace the eyesore of the temporary cover?

Utterly disgraceful incompetence. Have you re-reported it?
The bulldog mutt seems to find it interesting but i agree it is a disgrace that it still hasn't been fixed.
