New Charter try to screw pensioner out of £850.....sound familiar??

The "Advertiser" carries an interesting article this week by reporter Beth Abbit. See Here

All credit to them. It tells us that 81 year old Hilda Gannon has been presented with a bill of £850 to remove doors and flooring in her recently vacated New Charter house. The story reports that she was living at her house for 16 years and New Charter claim that Mrs Gannon, who is reportedly profoundly deaf, knew and agreed to the charges.

Sound familiar? It should do, because we carried a similar story about a different person in March of this year. See  here .

The similarity is most remarkable. Is this a deliberate policy of New Charter?

We make several observations. If she is a tenant of 16 years then she was there before New Charter was the landlord. Did Tameside housing have the same policy? If not what protection was extended to their former tenants?

New Charter Homes Ltd is a registered charity. What kind of charity treats the elderly in such a dispicable manner? One that needs to be asked what do they actually do to deserve the status?

How do they arrive at their prices? We already know that they charge £250 for disposal of bulky rubbish that TMBC charge £25 to remove. .

The most remarkable part of this sorry tale is that it is not unique. How many others have been similarly fleeced?

Blow the whistle, let us know.

I lost the keys to the house so they said the new lock change would be billed to me.
They sent be a bill for £150 for the knew lock change they then knocked it down to £60after I questioned the £150.

Manchester Dog's Home said...

An arson attack on Manchester Dog's Home yesterday killed at least 45 dogs, and within hours the centre has received £500,000 in donations. Anyone who can donate, please do as their work is fantastic. Ten years ago in Hyde my dog escaped and was involved in a road traffic accident. The police took him there and they did a great job patching him up and taking care of him and they survive off nothing but donations from the public.

The fire in the dogs home as brought me to tears. I am making a donation now.

I can't believe someone torched a dogs home, we all know the little cunt will get away with it. A few years at most. The best thing that can happen is people find out who he is, and one day he will get justice at the end of a rope.

Donate yes, also write to your MP, the Chief Constable, the Police and Crime Commissioner etc and demand that the alleged perpetrator, a piece of utter human detritus, is PUNISHED to the fullest extent of the law.

TC New charter are a money making scam.
I mentioned the replacement lock at the house, the bill they sent me was £115 not the £150 I stated in my first post.
Still imagine if an old person got that bill, they would have paid it.

TC This maybe a story if it goes the distance.
New charter sent us a letter today saying that we are £400 in rent debt, yet the Council sent us back £5,800 because my partner was entitled to housing benefit.
Susan Lathwood Account manager says we owe £400 in rent debt.
If this goes to court I would like you to report on the story.
This is a VERY important story that I would like you to cover.

This article is VERY important, and we need new charter tenants to come forward with their nightmare dealing with new charter.
New charter housing are a menace to people's rights, and they want to suppress free speech.
forcibly put an end to.
"the rising was savagely suppressed"
synonyms: subdue, defeat, conquer, vanquish, triumph over, repress, crush, quell, quash, squash, stamp out, overpower, extinguish, put down, put out, crack down on, clamp down on, cow, drive underground;
end, put an end to, stop, discontinue, terminate, halt, arrest.
That's what new charter want to do to our rights of free speech.

The Queen exists to secure the future of the Windsor dynasty.
Look at the decline and ongoing destruction of our country with zero reaction from her or her clan over the last few decades.
Britain in 1952 was almost entirely ethnically and culturally homogeneous, with a definite, unified sense of identity and nationhood.
The family structure, patriotism, Christianity, educational standards and crucially a strong system of law and order with the death penalty as its bedrock were all firmly in place.
Now all that's dead or dying, but we've still got Queen Lizzie, 'Defender of the Faith', yes but what faith? Which faith is thriving unchecked, unremarked upon by her and the rest of the self interested establishment.
If she HAS got influence 'behind the scenes', it's either unused or malign.
Oliver Cromwell's harangue to Parliament comes to mind: 'You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately...Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!'

I said 14 years ago in the year 2000, that new charter housing was a serious threat to "Free Speech" our "Civil Liberties"
New charter constantly mistake "Legitimate Criticism" for "Incitement"
Something that was brought home to Paul Wilson (solicitor acting for charter) when Judge Craig Osborne said
in relation to the West injunction
Quote "This is a significant breach of the freedom of speech"
Unquote.
It is worrying that the police hold the forceable power to assist new charter in evictions.

I have a number of new charter bills sent to my house that get reduced when you ring them up to complain.
You see, this is how the scam works they carry out a job then send you a bill hoping that you'll pay the lot.

@ Alf Garnett 21.25.

Sorry Alf, your info is out of date. Since 2nd June this year (2014) the Police can issue a DVPN (Domestic Violence Protection Notice) to immeadiately restrain a violent person. This can be extended to a DVP Order by the courts. This law was tested in three police areas over the last two years, GMP was one

Children Now More Likely to be Muslim than Christian in Many British Cities said...

There are now more Muslim children than Christian children growing up several British towns and cities. Figures from the 2011 census show that in places such as Birmingham, Bradford and Leicester, a child is more likely to be raised in Islam than Christianity as Britain's demographics radically change.

The census shows, for example that of 278,623 young people in Britain's second largest city, Birmingham, 97,099 registered as Muslim compared to 93,828 as Christian.

Meanwhile in Bradford 52,135 youngsters, forming 45 percent of the total, are Muslim, compared to 47,144 Christians. Leicester has 22,693 young Muslims compared to 18,190 Christian children.

The London borough of Tower Hamlets, has the biggest difference, with 62 percent of children being raised Muslim. Christians in the borough are vastly outnumbered by 34,597 to just 8,995.

However, analysts are now beginning to warn that the growing number people following non-traditional faiths could lead to segregated and divided communities.

Professor Ted Cantle of the IcoCo Foundation, which aims to promote social cohesion, told the Daily Mail: “What we are seeing are several trends running together. There is a long-term decline in support for the established religions, notably Christianity; continuing immigration from the Asian sub-continent; and higher fertility among the Muslim population, which has a considerably lower age profile.

“There is also deepening segregation exacerbated by the loss of white population from cities and more intensive concentration of black and minority ethnic groups as a result of replacement. This is the real problem, as residential segregation is generally compounded by school and social segregation.

We will have nightly curfews and lock downs soon, if we aren't just bussed around in cattle sheds, bussed to wherever private companies need us

Addendum to posting regarding eviction.

This does not necessarily mean that the person who receives the notice has been violent towards the victim. They could be behaving in a manner which causes distress, not necessarily again aimed at the victim.

But the bottom line is that the police have the power to exclude someone from their home (which in my language means "evict").

Save Hyde Library said...

In its latest indiscriminate cull in the name of 'cuts' Tameside Council plans to sell off Hyde library and transfer all services to the town hall. Few people doubt that this will inevitably mean a poorer service, as well as the local community losing a historic building.

Off course, only down the road a brand new KFC is under construction. So perhaps we've got to move with the times and embrace an Americanised future where history and heritage counts for nothing and our towns become nothing more than tacky corporate highways. Sign the petition and let those philistines know that some people in the borough actually have taste.

I think we should all be very happy today because the union has survived. I began to really detest Salmon the Bastard and Sturgeon the Bitch but thankfully their plan to destroy the Union has failed. Let's celebrate that news.

Cameron was apparently nearly in tears at the prospect of losing the union. Strange as he clearly couldn't care less about our nation's ongoing destruction by mass, uncontrolled immigration.
