I see the large Denton Rock structure has been transformed into a giant advertising hoarding for the new Denton KFC which is currently under construction. Drivers coming down the M67 towards Manchester will certainly get the advertising message as there is no missing it. Drivers on the roundabout and M60 exit will also get a birds-eye view. From KFC's point of view it is a pity the structure is not a few meters taller as it is not highly visible for the vast amount of traffic passing by on the M60 but nevertheless, they have chosen a prime spot for this new 'restaurant' and it is bound to be busy.

Get a load of the wording of that article: expressing pride in being British is now officially a racist "slur". Incredible.
Goes without saying that it's only "racist" to be proud of one's heritage/identity (or even to recognise that one has a heritage at all) if one is British - by blood, not bloody passport - or English or, most criminal of all, White.
It's also funny that we're constantly being told that muslims themselves are supposedly proud to identify as British [yeah, try not to injure yourself laughing] so it's slightly peculiar that an expression of national pride should be perceived (and prosecuted!) as an insult.
What else is there to say? This is just more evidence of the State's draconian anti-white agenda. About the only positive aspect of this disgusting situation is that this kind of repression only fuels resentment and further exposes the utter hypocrisy and malicious intent of the police, the judiciary, the government and the media.
And, speaking of perversions of language and anti-white propaganda, I caught a BBC news bulletin last night that was leading with, big surprise, the 'backlash' against muslims. The broadcaster prefaced the item by describing a rise in anti-muslim "violence". The word, of course, caught my attention. However, the extent of this "violence", according to the rest of the report, consisted of alleged attempts to pull off headscarves (didn't say how many - presumably a single incident, if even true, which I doubt) and some graffitti and some rude comments. And that was it.
If the headline were to be taken at face value, one would be led to believe that droves of poor, innocent muslims were being massacred in the streets, but the best that the BBC could come up with for a 'backlash' is rumours of playground-level pranks and a few vague examples of intemperate language. And that's what they classify as "violence".
All part of a concerted effort to characterize entirely justified expressions of outrage at yet another islamic atrocity as morally equivalent to the religiously-motivated murder that provoked the outcry.
The message being: be passive - your natural, healthy, innate sense of justice, of right and wrong, is racist. To recognise wrongness is wrong. To recognise evil - and name it - is evil.
It's nothing short of an attempt to completely invert morality. To persuade us that what happened on that Woolwich street is acceptable, because to express disgust at the event, and the causes and motives behind that event, is not acceptable.
Perverse. Twisted. Sick. Vile. Repugnant. The list could go on much longer and it wouldn't even come close to describing the depravity and depth of betrayal we're witnessing.

British anti-fasist activists are to rally in London in protest to the exploitation of the recent murder of British soldier Lee Rigby to whip up racism and hatred toward Muslims.
“We reject the attempt by fascist organisations such as the English Defence League and British National Party to exploit the murder of Lee Rigby to whip up racism and direct hatred towards all Muslims,” Unite Against Fascism said in a press release on its website.
The rally, called by United Against Fascism and is backed by the Stop the War Coalition, will be held outside the Prime Minister’s office in London at around 2pm on Monday.
The rally is planned ahead of the EDL mobilisation and will be attended by trade unionists, Labour Party politicians, faith representatives and community groups.
Unite Against Fascism is also to release a statement on religious hatred following Rigby’s murder.
“Together with all anti-racists, those of different communities, cultures and faiths, trade unions and others we, now more than ever, must stand up to Islamophobia wherever it raises its head,” it said.
The EDL and other far-right groups have exploited the murder in Woolwich by alleged Muslim assailants to step up their anti-Islam hate-preaching.
The Muslim Council of Britain, the Islamic Society of Britain and more than 100 mosques in the country have condemned the linking of the words Muslim and Islam with the death of a British soldier close to Woolwich Barracks.

Well I think we can all tell from this article that we are free (at least the moment) to think what we like but we must not say what we like. When did this occur that the authorities can regulate what we like and dislike? When and how did they get this power? - I am interested if anyone can tell me when the exact time is that we slept walked into allowing state voice control? also did any of us vote for this?”

We have a foreign secretary striding the world stage trying to ferment civil war in sovereign states and using the pretext of ‘freedom’ to bring down legitimate governments yet in the UK we are witnessing members of the public being arrested for ‘racism’ because they fly the Union Flag - where’s the freedom in that William Hague?
People are angry over the barbaric murder of Drummer Lee Rigby and the authorities are actively preventing British people from expressing their revulsion at his murder. Do they not know what happens if you prevent steam escaping from a pressure cooker?
