Shocking scenes of animal cruelty in Denton

So here was me and my trusty hound, we thought we would take advantage of the nice weather and head down to Denton/Reddish Vale in the hope of seeing some buzzards. No buzzards were to be seen although I did get close to a fantastically coloured Kingfisher darting along the River Tame. Soon after I noticed a couple with six or seven small terrier type dogs. I watched them go over the hill towards where there is a thriving colony of rabbits. After waiting for a while I did not see the couple and their pack of dogs come round the other side of the hill so I assumed they were in the vicinity of the rabbit warrens and probably up to no-good. As we walked up the hill I could hear lots of commotion on the other side involving dogs - I knew what I was going to see next! As anticipated the couple were watching as their dogs chased rabbits - at least one of which was caught and killed. They were encouraging their dogs all the way and when one small white Jack Russell type dog refused to chase he was tossed into brambles from what was a great height for a small dog. The brambles would tear you to bits if you attempted to walk through them and beneath are bricks and concrete from a building which once stood there. It is impossible to believe the dog which was tossed at least twice was not seriously injured, if not by the sharp thorns then certainly on the rubble beneath.

What kind of satisfaction the evil creatures in the video could gain from their bloodlust is beyond me. Not only do they appear to gain pleasure from watching defenceless rabbits getting torn to pieces, but on top of that they abuse one of their own dogs too. Maybe they view it as sport and enjoy ‘the thrill of the kill’. If this is the case I would propose a real a adrenalin pumping game in which they could truly feel part of the action, this is how it goes: They and their dogs v me and the rabbits. The dogs are their weapon, my weapon is L11583. The hunters would wear body armour and hard hats in case of a misfire and the rules are no head or body shots but anything above the elbows and beneath the knees are legitimate target. So instead of being onlookers waiting to watch the suffering of animals, they themselves could feel the anticipation of massive pain and suffering being inflicted upon themselves at any given moment. This of course is an imaginary scenario, if there was any real danger to the animal tormenters they would run a mile - just like they did when they noticed me filming them. Cowardly beasts!

For a bit of light entertainment following that horrible video watch the one below featuring one of the Denton buzzards being dive bombed by a crow. There are great panoramic scenes of Denton and Werneth Low in the background as the camera follows the buzzards and the pursuing crows and gulls.

Not a bad idea to get Vehicle Reg if appropriate, and lets unmask them.

What a pair of tw@ts. Try and get a better photo of the guy in the green.

If they would do that to animals think what they would do with humans.

Why did you just stand there and film them? If I was there I would have leathered him! The TWATS!

Excellent footage of the buzzard being mobbed. Did you know the collective name for its attackers is 'a murder of crows.'
But you're far too much of a bunny hugger.

I had my dog with me, my dog unfortunately is aggressive towards other dogs. Had I walked over and confronted them my dog and the terriers would have started fighting. I could have used that as an excuse, but that is not the reason I filmed them instead of immediately intervening.

Sometimes you have to think of the wider implications when a situation presents itself before you. I am sure the photographer who took the iconic photograph of the young victims of a U.S. napalm attack in Vietnam felt compelled to help them, however he done something more important when put into the context of the whole war - he photographed the shocking image and circulated it wide and far so the people of the world could see the true horror of war rather than the sanitised version most people get spoon fed.

The video I filmed yesterday of the dog being abused in such a shocking manner is obviously not comparable to the image of the napalm victims, but nevertheless, the animal tormentors have been captured on film carrying out their dastardly deeds of cruelty. Hopefully anyone who watches this video or hears of the incident will be on the look out for the sadists and will report them to the authorities if they recognise them. This then would have the knock on effect of deterring similar miscreants who may feel tempted to abuse animals in broad daylight in a similar way.

As for the allegation that the video has somehow been ‘faked’ for this blog. All I can say is watch it again and watch it closely in HD on the Youtube website and you will see it is 100% genuine - filmed yesterday afternoon around 3pm. Do bear in mind most people who have viewed the video will have watched it on a small window in the middle of their computer monitor. I have watched it at home on a large screen TV and the video clip above does not accurately illustrate the true evil intent of the dog thrower. The brambles where he threw the dog were huge and razor sharp. That dog must be covered in deep scratches as well as probable internal injuries following a hard landing through brambles onto rubble.

Incidentally; as soon as I filmed the cruelty I did shout at them. That’s when they realised they had been rumbled and scampered off.

Cheers Karl. The buzzards really do get a hard time from the crows. On paper you would have to say a buzzard would easily win against a crow in a fight, but my observations lead me to believe the crows are far more aggressive and usually are successful at driving the buzzards away from their patch.

In the video you may have also noticed a hovering kestrel, kestrels like buzzards are raptors and I always thought raptors were top of the chain in the avian world - but apparently not! As the buzzards get harassed and harried by crows and even gulls, I have seen kestrels being harried and chased by magpies. It seems the only birds free from harassment are ducks. None of the other birds seem to mess with ducks which must mean ducks are the hardest of the lot - or the other birds do not feel threatened by them as they do with raptors.

It's not a fake, only UKIP candidates are fake!

That's great news. When you have finished with him leave his mortal remains dangling from the dead tree at the base of the hill - that way the buzzards will have food for weeks.

Send em round to me I will teach them a lesson like I did to a local fascist who thought he could treat me like a dog.

Don't take the bait West. They want to set you off on a rant to divert discussion away from animal cruelty.

Karl Roberts said...

Dead right above because Halal might be mentioned, shit that's done it! And all the bullshitting, gutless hypocrites happy to go on about foxes and animal cruelty in general would have to explain their total silence on the atrocity of Halal which involves the industrial scale throat slitting of millions of fully conscious animals in Britain, a practice completely illegal for our own slaughtermen.

Karl Roberts said...

JT, I'll send the local kebab shop owners round for you to deal with, oh no they're Muslim Labour voters and sacred ethnics so they can do what the fuck they want.

I am reporting this to the RSPCA.

Dont bother with Kebab shop owners if you knew anything about me you would have know I was vegetarian, and have been for over 50years

Taylor just can't cope with this guy. This guy gets right under his skin.

Karl Roberts said...

If you're a vegetarian and concerned about animal welfare you should be concerned about the legalised atrocity of Halal. Or perhaps you don't have a problem with the industrial scale throat cutting of fully conscious animals.

I admire anyone that can be vegetarian. I would be one as well if lamb chops did not taste so nice.

Robert Younger said...

Halal, practised by savages.

You obviously did not watch the video and see the cruelty involved. They should be shot!

David and Nick you must stay strong and back George with his housing benefits cuts,no turning back now.
There is an easy solution to the problem the landlords can reduce the rents they have been ripping of housing benefits for years, some are charging £600/£700 per week in London and the only people who can afford the rents are the people on benefits.
Labour had a plan to tackle this scam so don't take any shit from them its got to be done.
A few landlords will be a few million less well off and millions of tax payers will be better off, take your choice.

Anonymous said...

But Labour allowed millions of immigrants into the country, now living on benefits.

I agree we have two families living on our street not bad people and the kids are always polite,They have both told me that the social pay all their rent they don't pay council tax and have never worked.
They have the same as I have and I work around 60 hours every week and get no help from anyone, "tell whos the mug"

As long as those half a million failed asylum seekers are sheltered, fed and watered at the taxpayer's expense and the other one and a half million illegals are left alone I'm quite happy to have a massive crackdown on the British people. They're a much easier target, especially when you've got no balls like me.

David and Nick, you have to deal with Boris, we all knew he was an idiot and we all knew this is what he is capable of, sack the clown now we can not back track on the benefit reforms,Boris is just getting a bit nervous about the London Mayor elections looming.
Many landlords ramped up their rents knowing the bleeding hearts brigade in the labour party would give in to them, its a mess we need to solve, if not I have an idea lets all stop work and find a big house we cant afford to buy and rent it, let the Government pay the rent.

JT said...

I agree with the above the bogus asylum seekers must be kicked out,and we must stop others entering the country.
The best way to do this is what other countries do,make it very very clear that if you sneak in you will get nothing from the state to help you and that it means nothing.
Problem solved scrounger will have to find another soft touch country to sponge off,and if they do sneak in send then to jail until their departure day is arranged preferably the day after they arrived if not sooner.
