Yes, a Conservative gain or it is goodbye JB.

This is a must win seat now for the conservatives, they should have won it at the last elections.
No doubt we will see the Labour steam roller moving into the area very soon like they did in Newton and Denton.
We will also see a big test for the LibDems will they take on their new bed fellows the conservatives,my guess is there will be a deal done.
The ConDem cuts will have a big part to play in this election, cant see the labour machine breaking down in Longdendale sorry John this could be your last curtain call

Going by Bell's pathetic track record Labour will win this one.

BNP said...

We will do very well in Longdendale we could just win this one give UKIP a good tonking they will come last, if they have the balls to stand.

Asil Nadir returns with a nod and wink from the Tories, thanks for the past donations and keep them coming when we get you over this little problem.

Spend spend spend said...

Could be. At least they didn't take us to the brink of economic annihilation.

How is Bell still leader? Seriously I'd like to know. Haven't the Tories got anyone with the guts to oust him, Central Office should have been on to this years ago.

TC I think you will find its Longdendale and not longendale, just a minor issue, to the above I think you will find its the bankers what done it.
Greedy financiers from all over the world Gordon Brown showed the world how to deal with the crisis millions of jobs were saved, now the Tories are using this as an excuse to cut cut cut.
They would have tried to do this had they won the election with a massive surplus, its what they do .

Don't Believe the Hype said...

This should be a win for the Conservatives, but judging by the local talent they will lose by a country mile like they did in Newton and Denton North East.

Spend spend spend said...

Anonymous, speaking of surpluses.
Overall balance of trade in goods and services:
1997 = £1.6 billion.
2006 = MINUS £45 billion.
Labour then kept spending with utter recklessness for another four years despite the rapidly expanding economic storm clouds on the horizon. But then that's 'what they do' isn't it, then the adults are re-elected and have to clear up the mess.

Thats what they have always done when they in power.

You can bet your bottom dollar I'll be Standing in Duki 2011.
I have a full colour leaflet (follow link)
This man talks about safer streets, yet he himself was questioned under police caution for assaulting the BNP candidate.

I know that this Labour thug will blow his top again in the run up to the elections in 2011.

I cant thank you enough said...

The rumour is that Roy wont be standing in Dukinfield because hes found out that it was Taylor that stopped him from being evicted when he committed his criminal offence last year.

What a nice man said...

John What a nice man you are despite all the trouble West tries to cause for you, you do something like that.
I think its called being magnanimous bet he would not do it for you, he would have been out on the street if it wasn't for your very kind actions.

for who the Bell tolles said...

F****** hell that video shows him out to be a nice man then.

Rotten Borough said...

Re that letter, how does he KNOW you'll be exposed?
The more I hear about Mr Taylor the less I like him. I can't understand why all the dubious electoral tactics go on in only this ward.

RKW said...

I am lodging a complaint with Tameside Council, and the standards board about John Taylor's actions, going to my neighbours house telling my neighbour to be aware of me. There's no way he should be doing that.

I wont be voting LibDem said...

LARGE labour team been out in Longdendale all morning ,they have a big event planned for later today.

Tameside Citizen said...

Thanks Anon, I have now corrected the error.

Moderation is now in place until I return on Monday following complaints about allegations being made by posters on this blog.

tonydj said...

And here am I believing that Roy was not evicted because we exposed the fact that several Labour councillors were directors of various companies in the New Charter and therefore the decision to evict was not free from political bias.

Plus I believe that promised demonstrations / leafleting campaigns against the eviction caused some concern when the locations of the campaigns were announced as beng close to the home areas of New Charter management

John Taylor said...

A wise decision to remove some of the post making untrue allegations against me.
Any letters or leaflets sent out by me will have my name on them.

RKW said...

But what are you doing knocking on my neighbours door for John? I have the evidence that you are behind a malicious campaign in Dukinfield.
I am standing again in 2011 no matter what methods you employ.

Roy West said...

No amount of smear leaflets, malicious letters, threats, assaults, will stop Roy West being a candidate in 2011. I think that, the people of Dukinfield are beginning to see the bigger picture of this malicious campaign, if not already a while ago.

Where's my by-pass? said...

I put my faith in Labour for forty years to deliver a by-pass and still I'm waiting. Why?

Big celebration at Tame valley pub Sunday at the music event ,free drinks paid for by Taylor strong rumour hes had a big win on the Lottery

Tameside Citizen said...

I heard a rumour that he may have won the lottery too. But why someone who earns as much as he does needs to do the lottery is beyond me.

I put my faith in Labour for forty years to deliver a by-pass and still I'm waiting. Why?

The answer is simple. Labour has strung the poor residents along all this time. Not even 13 years of Labour in Government could deliver Longdendale residents from the daily road chaos they face. All the time the Labour were claiming to have secured the building of the by-pass they failed to look at alternatives. Forty years and nowt. That's Labour's record.

£££££££ said...

Its a substantial win, rumours are rife in the Valley.

The amount of allowances and money he gets off the counil he's probably got plenty of spare cash to blow on lottery tickets.

Madame Debauchery said...

No matter how much money Taylor has, it still wont buy him any class. He will blow it on a trip to Benidorm.

Or perhaps he could buy a new car instead of buying one second hand and clocking it?
