Large bird of prey spotted in Tameside

This killer tried to capture a Blackbird right in front of my eyes, but thankfully it failed. Nature can be unpleasant at times and ‘busybodies’ like me would interfere given half a chance. Watching the Blackbird dodge and dive for its life as this killer swooped down after it made me feel so powerless to help. I really thought the hawk was going to catch the Blackbird and I wanted to help. I dare say if I had a hunting rifle I would have shot at the predator in the hope of saving its intended prey, thankfully I didn’t, and even if I did, I would have been totally out of order by directly interfering in an age old battle of hunter and hunted.
