Skip overturned in Stalybridge - a resident asks KY and the team to ‘sort it out’.

I received this picture and a request from a Lindsay Street resident who is an avid follower of this blog. The resident sends an urgent request to ‘KY and the team’ asking them for help in getting the upturned skip righted. I am sure they would be equally grateful if Cllr Beeley were to oblige instead. The upturned skip is located close to the junction of Lindsay Street and Stocks Lane. Local residents have tried to turn it over but failed - hence the request for help. No number for the owner of the skip can be found. Locals are baffled at how it come to be overturned and have no clues as to who was responsible.

Update 16.10 04/01/10 The skip has been 'sorted' and well done to who ever was responsible.

The Labour lot are frauds and are only interested in phoney photo opportunities. Basil will sort it out.

Problem Solved thanks Basil said...

Dear TC I was out this morning about 11.35 walking my children when I seen Ky the local south candidate. He was Talking to the builders who have been having problems there with youths and have sadly been robbed. they were speaking with Ky and they have arranged for the skip to be over turned and resolved by Tuesday, hopefully Monday....
There will be no photo opportunities this is not really ky's Job but it is nice to see that residents are asking the soon to be Councillior for help...

If this picture really did come from a resident of the area then stop and speak with the builders he is called Ian....

p.s check out next weeks Reporter about the fox hunting article Ky put in before christmas must have got the tory backs up because two attacked him. must be on the Tory payroll....
oh well wait and see what goes in then perhaps you bloggers would like to put an opinion to the editor of the reporter about your feeling on fox hunting and Ky's CAMPAIGN to make sure it never shows its brutal head again in our society. perhaps Tc could scan the Reporter Letters and let the bloggers have there say...

never a red flag over stalybridge South said...

it is a disgrace that people are having to ask a would be tin pot paper candidate Ky Marland for help when we have Basil,Doreen, and David who are all very good at the job and would be more than capable of sorting out this problem...

give it up Labour you do not stand a chance

Tameside Citizen are you being fair? said...

The plot thickens TC are you having second thought about the Labour candidate because nobody on Linsey Street has really complained at all have they Ky knocked on several doors today but still resolve the problem are you trying to help him or set him up...
i mentioned your site to him he looked at me rather blankly and said Tameside Citizen are they not a paper lol

I cannot vouch as to the authenticity of the request from the email sender who claimed to be a Lindsay Street resident. But the lady in question did send a photograph of the upturned skip along with a request for KY and the team to ‘sort it out’.

Maybe it was Doreen & Basil playing games and using a false email address in the hope of wasting KY’s time, or on the other hand it could have been a genuine request and if KY ignores it - it will do his campaign ambitions a lot of harm because the person who requested his assistance may start to tell people KY & Labour are only interested in photo opportunities rather than helping the local community when requests are made of them.

Labour will not win the Staly/South seat, it's Tory, Labour have a thousand votes to pull back there. Staly/North it's close between them. The BNP will stand a candidate there next time round.

Jimmy the skip wrecker said...

Big thanks to Basil, Dorreen and David Buckley for sorting out The Croft. But who were the yobs that overturned the skip? Some saw them heading off down Acres Lane towards the Labour Club laughing...

What authority has this KY got for interfering in such matters?

Tameside Labour Mafia said...

He is a recruit to the Labour Mafia and that is all the authority he needs.

told you they were fakes said...

A distinct lack of interest from the boastful Labourites when a bit of real graft is called for.

Red Flag at dawn said...

ky was asked for help and indeed he did go and speak with the builders and they have said that they will get it removed monday but at the latest Tuesday subject to the conditions of the roads.

no fake no photo opportunites just hard work from a soon to be candidate and Roy just a quick message
Doreen may have won buy a thousand votes but Basil when he last stood did not it was closer then that so let not claim a Tory Victory just yet, I am suprised you are not standing in South or North I do not think you would win either anyway but you can try good luck

bring our stone wall back said...

Dear Jimmy could you ask the Tories were our stone wall went when they fixed the croft all they have done is removed a wall and cut back the trees trying asking a couple of the residnets on croft street what they think they are not all happy at having to look at the back of the houses on stocks lane

Vote tin pot said...

Many thanks to the tin pot candidate for sorting the skip out for us, reported on Saturday night the tin pot candidate was on our street early Sunday morning, knocking on doors and meeting with the Builder who hired the skip.
We will be voting for the tin pot candidate and dumping the fossils we now have, who could not be bothered with us when we asked for their help.
They only care for the their rich friends further up the hill, at last we have someone who cares for us.
