Roy West lays down the gauntlet to his local councillors! They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. If they act immediately Mr West can say when he says jump - they ask how high. If they don’t act and someone gets injured - Mr West can accuse them of dereliction of their duty as elected councillors. It will be interesting to watch this as it unfolds.

dear TC I am new to this site and was told be a friend that it was a site were local people could speak their mind about local issues and political issues.
I have had a read of one or two articles and would like to know the rules of posting and also how would I post a video like Mr West I am not very IT or ICT literate

Dear Roy would you do dukinfield a favour and walk across the local motorway to see whether that is safe perhaps if Labour dont then you and the BNP could.....
Don't worry the anti-car nutters that infest the Wellington Rd dustbin (or money furnace as it's known) will soon have all the local motorways speedbumped.
The reintroduction of a man walking in front with a red flag can't be far away.
Anyone who disagrees with the insanity of our leader's roads policy is castigated as a would be child murderer who WANTS the roads covered with the corpses of minors.
The only reason Mr West can raise these issues is because the Council and its elected representatives in that Ward have allowed situations like this to develop. That's not one loose flag unattended to for a few days, that pathway and those steps are positively dangerous and look as if they've been in that state for some time.

Its amazing how you can spot the tell tale signs that the Labour Mafia has been hurt. They know West's latest video is a winnner and they respond with all the usual lies; Nazis, Fascists, Hitler, Gas Chambers WWII, blah blah blah. Very few people believe this crap any more and if they want keep their snouts in the trough they need to get out and address the concerns of the electorate.

Senior city councillor Paul Shotton has been convicted of animal cruelty after leaving his family's 13-year-old pet labrador to die while he went on holiday with his wife.
The 47-year-old, city council portfolio holder for public safety, pictured, was convicted alongside his wife Annette, aged 45, of causing unnecessary suffering to Baron, between June 24 and July 15 last year.
Sentencing the couple, deputy district judge John Maxwell told them: "You two have committed a despicable crime.
"You left an old family friend in your yard to die while you went on holiday - no doubt hoping it would all be over by the time you got back."
A former mayor escaped jail today after being convicted of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Stewart Brown, 60, admitted 21 offences of possessing indecent images of children and one of distributing pictures.
At Leeds Crown Court today he was given a nine-month prison sentence which was suspended for two years.
In 2006 he was mayor of Hebden Royd in West Yorkshire and was also a Labour councillor on Calderdale Council, the court heard.
At a hearing in July, Brown, of Nutclough, Hebden Bridge, admitted all the charges, some of which were said to relate to images of girls as young as three.

A former Wigan councillor who downloaded child porn and had a gun and ammunition in his safe was today (Thur) jailed for six years.
A court heard that Joseph Shaw's offending came to light after his daughter found the indecent images on his computer.
She was so shocked she did not initially tell anyone but after she found he had continued visiting child porn sites and also discovered texts on his phone apparently making obscene references to her she told a counsellor who alerted police.
JaIling 42-year-old Shaw, Judge David Swift said, "At the time you were in a possession of public responsibility, a man to whom others might look for an example."
Liverpool Crown Court heard that Shaw had been a Labour councillor for Wigan West for three years and also a member of the Greater Manchester Transport Authority,
Judge Swift told Shaw that the indecent images, totalling almost 2,000, involved the exploitation of children, "some very young indeed." The children had been subjected to "degrading and sickening experiences", he said.
When police raided his home in Avondale Street, Standish, they found a World War 11 .38 Smith & Wesson revolver and 15 cartridges for it in a safe.
Shawk, who had a shotgun certificate, used to be a member of a gun club and must have been aware that the gun was capable of firing live ammunition and must have known it was prohibited, said Michael Scholes, prosecuting.
He said that the indecent images found on Shaw's computer covered all five categories of abuse and had been discovered by his daughter in April 2007.
A total of 1,967 indecent images, including still and movie files, were found, including 17 in the most serious category involving sadism.

A FORMER Liverpool councillor today appeared in court charged with downloading indecent images of children - some said to be of the worst type.
Ben Williams, 34, of Norris Green appeared at South Sefton Magistrates Court and spoke only to confirm his address.
The history tutor, who was supported by family and friends at the hearing, did not enter a plea to the 12 counts of making indecent images over a year-long period.
He was released on bail and will appear at court again on June 26 when he will be committed for trial at Crown Court.
Williams was arrested last December by officers from Sefton Family Crime Unit and eight computers were seized in the inquiry.
At the time he was a Labour councillor but agreed to self-suspend himself from the party while the investigation was carried out.
The former Clubmoor councillor did not stand in this month’s elections after having served on the council for six years.

A labour councillor admitted setting up a secret camera to film women using his bathroom, police said today. Neil Redrup, an independent member of Gosport Borough Council, pleaded guilty at Southampton Crown Court yesterday to four charges of voyeurism.
The 45-year-old also pleaded guilty to a charge of gross indecency relating to opening a pornographic email in front of a child. The court heard that Redrup positioned the camera in a cupboard inside the bathroom of his home in Alver Road, Gosport, Hampshire, with the lens spying through a hole where a toilet roll holder used to be.
The device was discovered after a friend found a video cassette of the women among Redrup's video collection. The court heard the charges relate to four separate occasions when he filmed three women who he met over the internet. Mr Redrup will be sentenced on July 9 at Southampton Crown Court.

A Black Country councillor has resigned amid allegations he was in possession of child porn, it emerged today.
Walsall Labour councillor Jonathan Phillips stood down after being arrested and bailed by police.
The 53-year-old has represented the Birchills and Leamore ward for two years but resigned on Thursday.

We've had very little to say up until now about Tameside BNP. I would like to apologise to the people in Dukinfiled for missing this horrendous health and safety issue,I cant understand how I have missed it, we have been to the centre at least six time in the last two weeks for photographs for our local press.
In my defence I have been busy making sure our schools got the investment we needed it was only £32m for the primary sector and £22m for the secondary sector, but its in the bag now and we have opened two new Schools already see local press for details.
I have been busy making sure our great park got the capital needed to improve it the steps, the pathways are now being done two CCTV cameras are about to go live and we are confident a new community area with a nice building for the bowlers will be built very soon total cost £2m.
Two of our sheltered residential homes are being refurbished and they asked me to oversee these schemes seven new road schemes are being delivered in the next two months, and I must not forget our social activities shoe boxes for the poor around the world our famous pensioners party children's party next week with New Charter all will be photographed and in the paper for you to see.
Finally we went and cleaned up concord precinct today while we were there two low lives thought they would be clever and dropped two cans for us to pick up, oh dear what a mistake we had enforcement officers with us two fixed penalties were issued on the spot despite there pleas and offer to pick them up what a good day.
Next week I will be working on a couple of schemes to ensure that our teenagers have some better facilities to complement the new youth centre we built on the blocksages,then its off to the town hall for a photo.

Because of Roy's ground breaking news about this loose paving stone we understand the chief executive called in the chief engineer this morning and suspended him and his team for not picking this health and safety hazard up.
Chief executive Mr Pleasant told us he had issued a contract for the work and was inviting tenders from all the major civil engineering companies in the UK and Europe, shares in two of the big companies increased on the stock market by 15% on hearing this news.
Work should start on the hazard by the end of the year the council have apologised for the inconvenience caused by this hazard but said they expected to have all major roads open by the new year, compensation will be paid to local businesses that have suffered by the hazard
If an elderly person trips on this long term hazard (it's been like that for ages) and breaks their leg, I doubt if you'd come back and make a similar smart arse, complacent comment.
The BNP team will repair this health hazard over the Christmas break and the electorate will be informed. The Labour councillors get paid to make sure these hazards quickly get sorted but they spend too much time in The Astley to bother about 'trivial' things such as doing the job they are paid for.

The real cheats are the Labour councillors who claim their fat cat allowances every year yet fail to do the work for which they are paid.
They know the score, organise an OAP's party once a year - guaranteed postal votes. Pose for numerous photos in the local Labour supporting rag - loads of free publicity. And to top it up cheat in a way which would shame Robert Mugabe when it comes to elections.
