It is a pity the smaller parties do not produce more leaflets - other than at election times, because if they want to bring about change they must get off their backsides and get their message to the people.

I have to admit you don’t have to worry much about Ged Cooney, but that Kieran, he is something else and it breaks my heart to say this but respect must be given. For he is a master of the art of war, a great campaign generator for Labour and a man who sticks to his word... he will defeat all those that stand against what he believes is right and what he believes is best for his ward. And the rest of Tameside’s wards. It is common knowledge that all candidates and Councillor seek his expertise in this field.

There is no mystery here. The leaflet is the work of Mr Quinn as is the phoney picture of the Nazi thugs who he leads people to believe are BNP members – which he knows very well they are not. They are crapping themselves that the BNP are going to increase the 1000 votes they scored last year in Droylsden. They are planning all types of tricks to stop the BNP, they are consulting with a group of hard-line Communists who use the name Hope Not Hate; they also plan to enlist help from the local rags in the run up to the elections. HnH were called in to whip up anti-BNP feelings in Droylsden three weekends ago but the event flopped. Do not underestimate Quinn’s desire to keep Droylsden a Labour only ward, he has aspirations of taking over when Roy has had enough. If Labour were to drop a seat in his manor, especially to the BNP, this would not help his cause so do be prepared for anything including acts of gross dishonesty and intimidation.
They also have plans for dirty tricks in Newton and Dukinfield so you have been warned.

No. In most cases they fought because they were conscripted and had no choice. Next, they fought to defend this country from invasion and the imposition of an alien way of life.

Quinn is extremely worried in Droylsden. He's right. Some of the BNP's tactics will be designed purely to unseat Labour councillors. If that means not standing in certain Wards to give the Tories a better chance, or focussing on Labour's appalling failures on immigration, crime and the economy etc etc etc so be it.
