Did anyone attend the grand opening and if so what’s the verdict? I had a glance in when passing and it looks tastefully decorated. The restaurant is in the building which until recently was a pub called The Old Dog. Sadly like many pubs the Old Dog died a death but at least it has found a new lease of life as a restaurant.

Curry was invented to hide the taste of rancid meat.
ive heard that on a certain day to be arranged a saturday i believall the take aways in britain will put poison in the food can you imagine the death toll i never eat in foreign restauraunts for that reason my dad used to say that when i was a little girl about the chinese the they are ok
I've heard that a lot of kebab houses are money laundering fronts for Islamic criminal and terrorist groups.
The Stone Jug in Staly's being re-opened. Let's hope it succeeds and doesn't end up as another curry house or similar foreign muck. All that spice, they could be serving you anything.
Wow there's a lot of ignorance in the comments on here. Are all of you really that paranoid? Stop hating and start respecting..we're all human. Terrorists do not represent Muslims...the minority trouble makers do not represent the majority of good Muslims. In the same respect the ignorant minority in this country do not represent the rest of us who are united against hate regardless of race, religion, creed etc. Now I believe the article asked about the grand opening..anyone?
Hi, Love the Spice, Borak is actually quite good. Unfortunately the meat is all of the Halal variety which prevents me from sampling it, but the Tandoori King Prawn Masala is highly recommended. Unlike many curries which are literally swimming in grease - the masala at Borak appears to be virtually grease free. The staff are friendly and courteous and the decor is first class too.
I give it a good 6/10 and if they served a non Halal alternative when it come to meat I would rate it even higher.
