Roy West - well done Tameside Council

Roy, well done for highlighting this potential health hazard and top marks to Tameside Council for their swift action, but as Roy said - shame on the local Labour councillors who have ignored this problem.

Well done Roy.

Yes well done Roy. Pity it was already logged to be completed on the publicly viewable corporate complaints system via the Tameside Council website.

Roy did you fix that all by yourself? well done lad... oh, hang on...

Thanks for inviting us to the meeting Roy, it was a real pleasure to listen to Andrew speak and to meet the rest of the gang. We all know if it was not for your intervention the dangerous street light wouldn’t have been touched. Ignore the idiots Roy because they are just angry you have shown them up to be the lazy pigs we already know they are. Goodnight and god bless. Xxx (Sandra)

There already out leafleting just had mine another superb Labour leaflet, just having some toast then its off to the polling station to vote for Denise.

Labour voters are flocking to the polling stations even in the rain, we took 33 this morning these were already booked in for a lift, you get then if you canvass.
Full team out all day now we are running a system and have number snatchers on duty, yes we will know if our supporters have been out.

It is such a joy to be a Labour activist on a day like this. The people of Denton love Labour and just cannot get enough of our policies. We have had seventeen councillors in the ward today. We were out from 7am and the response has been amazing. We really need not have bothered because the result is a foregone conclusion but it is good to know the voters of Denton recognise and appreciate our efforts. Time after time they tell us how only Labour makes the effort to connect with them and listen to their concerns. They say they will not be fooled by lazy Conservatives and bone headed Nazis who think they can win elections by flirting out a few tacky leaflets. Anyway, that’s my lunch break finished so it is now back down to Denton for round two. See you at the count – losers!

Did anyone see Liam today with his Conservative friends driving around Denton, John Bell claims hes not part of them.
Our photos will clearly demonstrate the facts, did anyone see any Tameside Conservative councillors out today.

The above post is crap and you know it
Lies lies and more lies you really can't help it Andrew
What we do know is that residents have been complaining of intimedation to go and vote by labour.
Really really shocking another blow for the democratic system.
And we will be looking for mini bus rental on your expenses

You don't have to be a member of a political party to lend a hand. The Labour lot are scared, otherwise they wouldn't comment on who was and wasn't out campaigning. I'm looking forard to yet another Conservative gain in Tameside. Well done Floyd, you will make an excellent Councillor in Denton, something very much needed locally. A thumbs up from the residents and a thumbs up form all of us.

Ask around Mr Walker Liam was outside Andrew Gwynne's house in a small blue car he was the one using the megaphone, and being very abusive truth hurts you have an idiot helping you, the split will get even wider when the others find out whos working for you today.

Liam was not there. Liars!

A member of the public contacted us via our national enquiry line. He was livid at what he called “Labour intimidation tactics” at the Linden Road Primary School polling station. Not only was he angry at Labourites loitering outside and harassing people going in to vote he was livid to see a Labourite actually sat inside the polling station, with a Labour rosette right next to where people were voting. The Labourite was not a visiting polling agent but actually sat with a book very close to the actual ballot box.

Labour are running scared.

I also spoke to numerous residents who were annoyed with the Labour lot for knocking on their door three times today to pressure them into voting. As a result, they have voted Conservative.

You should have seen their faces when they saw the Floydmobile. Some home truths down the loudspeaker had them running home to daddy Roy.

Good Luck Floyd said...

We wish Floyd the best of luck. He has fought an honest and dignified campaign and what ever the result he has gained the respect of many of the residents of Denton and some of his minor political opponents.

Tom Hatton said...

All of these lies and sensationalist rubbish from the Labour Party is irrelevant. What is relevant however are the issues pertinent to Denton residents such as; unemployment, traffic and a high taxes.
The people of Denton will make their choice today and I'm positive that Floyd will win Denton North East for the Conservatives.

None of the above said...

Forever Red, If the people of Denton love Labour's policies why have you had to work yourself into the ground for 85% of the electorate NOT to vote for you. People are fed up with all the main Parties hence the abysmally low turnouts nationwide. Dragging your core zombie vote out by the scruff of the neck may result in a win but the only thing you've really got to celebrate is temporarily preserving your seats on the gravy train.

Good luck tonight Floyd! Whatever the result, you have led a strong an honest campaign that you should be incredibly proud of. I am sure your hard work will result in huge success. You are a true asset to the Conservatives and the people of Denton North East. You have done yourself, the Conservatives and the residents of Denton North East proud.

I think tonight will be a big wakeup call to Labour.

Good luck Floyd. I'm sure you have a good chance of winning this tonight but even if you don't, rest assured you will win in May.

You have led a fantastic campaign based on policy and truth. You should be very proud of yourself!

Our leader made it clear where Liam stands at the last council meeting, hes history there is no way they would allow Liam anywhere near them its all lies he was not there today.

The Tories last leaflet was excellent and nailed Labour's increasingly disastrous running of Tameside.

First cut is the deepest said...

Poor Liam hounded out of the tories. He told me that he plans on standing in Werneth against John Bell and co. From what he told me there are some serious issues that need exposing. Does anyone else on this blog care to elaborate?

Dentonian said...

Yes it was an excellent leaflet but having just come in to get changed for the count I fear the Labour crooks will easily win. I fear this because I have been watching them ferry oap’s and the feeble minded to polling stations in large numbers. When the inquest is held we will have to determine how many people who were eligible to vote did actually vote Labour. One thing is certain and that is Labour could have done no more than they already have. What ever vote they achieve is the absolute maximum they will get next May so this should give us a workable target to aim for.

use to be a blue said...

Liam do you know why these Tories keep denying you were out working for them today, what is their problem with you.
For the first two weeks of the election they had nobody doing any work.
Why do you put up with this shit from them everyone knows you did your bit today why do the deny you.

Anonymous said...

Liam will soon lead Tameside Tories and that is a fact.

"Labour increase their majority Tory vote down 25% another disaster for the Tameside Tory group, this could be the end for some senior Tories."

Utter tosh! Unsunstantiated gossip. The Tory party is resolute, united and looking forward to next May's elections.

Stacey and co out said...

This disaster is a direct result of you lot interfering in our affairs, you know what we mean and we told you this would happen.
We could and should have won Denton had we selected the person we wanted this disaster would not have happened.
It is true Liam Billington was riding round Denton with other backstabbers making us look foolish, our turn will come SOON

Anonymous - you really are talking tosh. You can't say things liek that with no proof. go to bed.

Floyd Knocked out said...

Mr Hatton Tameside is the only group in the country losing votes in by-elections,Denton was there for the taking why did it not happen?
Why did your vote go down in a time when you should be overturning Labour majorities you are 21 points ahead in National polls.
Tameside Tories are in a mess and are letting people down Newton and now Denton are a disaster the squabbles within the Tory party locally need sorting, Mr Floyd never stood a chance once people knew about the rift and Labour crucified you with it.
Most areas will be praying for a by-election you must do the opposite pray there are no more to save you the embarrassment of a third humiliation, the BNP outworked you again in this election.

Anonymous said...

Hey Tom say that to Bell, he was making nasty comments about the BNP Candidate. He's a tosser

Tom Hatton said...

Tonight's result certainly wasn't following the national trend but one has to bear in mind that byelections produce abnormal results. The real test of Labour's strength and the supposed 'Tory weakness' will be in May's elections - I predict a Tory Triumph - nationally *and* locally!

Labour can muster many more people than the Tories can at any one time - let's see them do it when all of the wards are up!

John Backhander Bell. Always looking for the hand out, and he gets it from uncle Roy. I'm off to bed now Tom
