Tameside Drop the knifes advert

One of a series of knifecrime adverts produced by Tameside youth opportunity fund panel, WISH multi media, Tameside Police and Tameside Council. Some of these short films are excellent and really do convey the message of the stupidity of carrying knives as weapons. Even though the clips are short you can be guaranteed they took many hours of hard work to produce. In my opinion the clip featured here is as professional as any advert you see on broadcast TV. Well done to all concerned!

'Street' and 'gritty' but will make no difference as it doesn't address the problem which is how to STOP young people carrying knives. They are carried to commit crime, show off or for self defence. Until long mandatory prison sentences are handed down to those with previous convictions for any crime from theft upwards who are caught with a knife things will continue to degenerate.

This is the type of legal system War Law would like to see implemented and he wonders why he is branded as psycopathic hater.

No I wouldn't as that's gratuitous. Anyone who deliberately blinds another should be executed by the quickest and most humane method. Instead of childish insults tell us what your punishment of this animal would be.

Kill everyone with three or more criminal convictions equal to or worse than stealing or assault. Not a panacea but Britain would be a far better place.
