Incident on the M60 motorway

I am not sure what has happened but it must be pretty serious because the motorway was completely closed around 8pm. One carriageway has since re-opened but still a significant police presence on the slip road close to Denton roundabout. Anyone know what has gone on?

A man is seriously injured in hospital after a car turned onto its roof on the M60.

Shortly after 7.10pm on Thursday 23 April 2009, police were called to junction 24 of the M60 clockwise following a report of an overturned car.

Officers attended and found a Fiat Bravo upside down after it collided with a wooden fence next to the motorway.

The driver of the car, a 32-year-old man, was trapped inside and needed to be pulled out by the fire service.

He was then taken to Hope Hospital in the force helicopter for treatment for a large wound on the back of his neck, which is not believed to be life threatening.

Nobody else was in the car.

How did the BNP do last night in the by-elections I hear that Labour overturned a Tory majority in Erewash council with a 7% swing to them.
Not bad just after the budget announcements they must have like what they heard.

Westy - I think you will find that, unlike yourself, Labour Till I Die isnt a failed candidate. That's presuming he is the "Mike" that has been suggested elsewhere. If it is that same person you will find that he retired unbeaten, however, he is a knob!

No, he was defeated by our candidate in Duki/Staly ward.

True Blue, did you see the result in Erewash you were 14% down on budget week.not looking good even worse than you disaster in Newton ward.

Britain is paying the price for decades of Tory and Labour-backed mass Third World immigration. Nowhere is this better illustrated than with the conversion of Christian churches — some of them hundreds of years old — into mosques the length and breadth of this country.

The Central Mosque of Brent was previously a church built around the 18th century but it is now used exclusively for Muslim ceremonies.

Anyone who thinks Labour are doing a good job is f*****g braindead or has a hidden agenda, i.e. there's something in it for them.

True Blue said...

The Tories will win a second seat in Duk/Staly and will come very close in Duk ward, that's what recent opinion polls have been saying in the wards.
Ask the genuine Labour members they will confirm this.

Well anything is better than
Michael Ballagher that for sure.

Decades of misguided Tory and Labour rule has seen the British educational system - once prized as one of the best in the world - descend into a shambles. It is overrun with non-English speaking immigrants, rocked by astonishing levels of violence, has wasted millions on harebrained politically correct schemes and is unable to produce the educated people needed to drive this country’s economy forward.

According to official figures just released, police were called to 7,000 acts of school violence in 2007 alone. As there are only 195 school days in a year, this translates to 36 violent incidents per day.

Nearly 40 percent of all the incidents requiring police intervention took place in London. A recent survey found that 29 percent of teachers had been punched, kicked or bitten by pupils, while one in ten said they had been injured by an aggressive or violent pupil.

The BNP is in favour of defending the rights of the indigenous British people-in particular to maintain our national identity which is in extreme danger of being chronically diluted in a multicultural morasss-not oppressing anyone on any basis.

Thanks for the info on the M60 accident Keir. It was so incredibly silent on Reddish Vale without the roar of traffic from the motorway that I had to walk up the embankment and have a walk onto the totally deserted carriageway. It reminded me of the Will Smith film where he was the last man on earth – and just like him, my only companion was my trusty hound.

UKIP, thanks for the link to the petition – let’s hope he gets the message!

Reveal yourself Mr Anon and I will let you know if you have me ‘sussed’. I guess the names you have listed are from the leaked BNP list?

Anonymous, these gutless initmidation tactics have been tried before with the leaking of the list. Membership went up as a result. If this is the best you've got keep digging until the sides collapse on you.

This blog lists my personal details as being a member of the BNP.

For clarity, my name is Lee Henderson and I have never been a member of the BNP.

Tameside Citizen said...

Thanks for the information Mr Henderson. It relates to a BNP membership list leaked onto the internet a few years ago. A lot of the names were genuine, but a lot were also added of people with no connection to the BNP just to bulk up the numbers. I have deleted the offending post. TC
