Is Adam Derbyshire impartial when it comes to reporting on the BNP?

You decide! Above are screenshots of Mr Derbyshire’s handiwork. It is worth noting when he describes how the BNP “clawed” (like wild animals) their way into second spot in four wards out of eight and how he has used this word ‘clawed’ on at least three other occasions when referring to the BNP. It is also interesting to note how he uses a most tenuous link involving a fight at a BBQ in Mossley to link an individual who is the son in law of a senior Labour figure in Oldham to the BNP in an effort to create, what he (Adam Derbyshire) is fully aware is an absolute lie that the individual involved in the fight was in charge of “dishing out BNP leaflets for the BNP”. Then there is a precursor to the recent BNP condemnation by the clergy – coincidence? And finally, the infamous rocket scientist article where Mr Derbyshire ends the piece by referring to the leaked BNP membership list as “the roll of shame”. I have my mind made up already on Adam Derbyshire’s impartiality – or should that be lack of impartiality? What do other Tameside Citizen viewers have to say on this subject?

Adam is a very good journalist, the BNP are just upset that he does not print what they want him to print about them.
Political party's and individuals would all like to control these journalist and their papers wouldn't they, print what we want to say is what they want.
The BNP got very good coverage during the recent election in Newton, and now they are looking for someone to blame for their defeat.
I have seen nothing to suggest that Adam Derbyshire is biased against anyone or any political party.

Off course he is impartial can't you tell?

Remember this?...

"Tameside council have regular meetings with local newspapers..."

You BNP people should wise up and learn some decent propaganda skills. You should make a compilation of this biased type of reporting and start publishing leaflets highlighting the real agenda of hired dupes like Derbyshire.

Time is good healer you BNP people will get over the thrashing you took in Newton.
I don't really think most people are influenced by what they read in any newspaper.
What I do think is they can be influenced by canvasser and party leaflets, something most of you are good at.
If you are a member of a political party you will know that most voters have already made their minds up long before your knock on the door or your leaflet arrives.
Its the floating voters and the new voters you have to influence, having good positive news items is better than negative ones we all know that, but lets not kids ourselves that the local paper will win or lose the election for you.
Look at the party's that did the most work in Newton and look at the result it mirrors the work done, and that will be the same in all ward at the next elections.
The BNP and Conservatives will target certain wards and work them, the Lib Dems UKIP and the Greens will do just a bit less than sod all,Labour will work every ward and work certain ones a bit harder.
Check out who comes out on top again next May,Adam Derbyshire and Eve Dougdale (Adam & Eve) from the Advertiser will no influence on the results, get over the Newton disaster and fight on.

I think Eve Dougdale left the Advertiser last year.

Mark from Godly, The BNP want a level playing field. You'd be hacked off if you constantly had to fight the opposition, interference from outside left-wing agitators and the media. The BNP got chronically biased coverage during the HydeNewton by-election from 'idealists' who haven't developed mentally since university. There is plenty of evidence that Porter who wrote to Private Eye about his hatred of the BNP and Derbyshire who is not even professional enough to disguise his loathing have no respect for the supposed impartiality of their profession.

I couldn't care less what a load of overgrown students who run the local free rag do. We're fighting for the survival of our national identity to the end. The HydeNewton result has made us even more resolute. Labour have brought in a team of US experts to try and give us a kicking at the European elections. They're scared and they've good reason to be.

I can confirm that Eve No Longer works at the Advertiser, shes not been in the office when I visit each day to brief them on what to print.

The BBC's spineless 'investigation' into Jacqui Smith's fiddling of her expenses sums up what's left of the integrity of a once proud organization which, like the Civil Service and the Police (particularly ACPO) has been politicized to be used for the Government's own ends. The BBC will do anything the Government says to maintain the Licence Fee.
The Tories and LibDems silence on the Jacqui Smith issue was because massive numbers of their own MP's have got their fingers in the till as well.

Ref the ACPO.

I was astonished to learn recently that they are now a LIMITED COMPANY
and have been since 1999, the year before the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT came in.

As a limited company t hey are NOT subject to this Act.

I still wouldn't write off the Tories in fact you will be a fool to do so.
Great leaflet which seams to have been very well received.
Hard hitting leaflet to follow......

Roy do you know when this hard hitting leaflet is being delivered, knowing the candidate like I do and the work his team put in during the election I would guess its going out this week long after the result to have the maximum effect.

Would you like to know who Roy Walker really is ? all can be revealed.

Regional report from the Labour party suggest that by 2011/2 the BNP could be the main opposition group in two northwest areas, one of these is Tameside.
The report is based on the number of votes being cast and the long term economic forecast, the report also confirms that the BNP are expected to pick up at least one seat in the European elections and it could get to two depending on how the UKIP party perform.
We saw how they performed in Hyde recently it looks like two for the BNP.
