Anti-truancy drive in Tameside
Greater Manchester Police recently assisted the Local Education Authority in a truancy sweep of Tameside.Held on Monday 15 December 2008, the sweep concentrated on five areas of Tameside including Hyde, Dukinfield, Ashton, Denton and Droylsden with two patrols consisting of one PC and an education welfare officer working in each area.A total of 77 children were stopped, the majority of which had a valid reason for being out of school. If a guardian was present they were asked why the child had been taken out of lessons and then given advice while 15 children without an accompanying adult were returned to school. All the children stopped will have a letter sent to their school and home address. The sweep was part of a wider initiative involving seven boroughs in Greater Manchester for the launch of the Code of Conduct for Penalty Notices and Exclusions that prohibits children suspended from school going to a public place during the first five days of their exclusion.Senior Education Welfare Officer Maureen Wallis said: “While we work regularly with the local police this it first time we have done a truancy sweep on this scale. Shopping trips, birthdays and sniffles are not appropriate reasons to take a child out of school and undervalues their education. Parents should be aware that there is a correlation between attendance and attainment.”

Until we return to a PUNISHMENT based system where people who do wrong suffer for it (including truants) things will continue to deteriorate. Sensible first steps would be; the return of corporal and capital punishment; long MANDATORY prison sentences e.g. three years for theft, seven years for burglary ten for robbery etc; Judges' powers reduced to supervisory and advisory only. Properly run prisons are proven as prevention, deterrent and punishment. It is also far cheaper to keep someone locked up in decent but basic conditions than to have them living on benefits going to court two or three times a year.
Dear Mr. Omega in the case of Danny Sayers, Carl Hyde, Michael Campbell, Keith Campbell, Imogen Makin, Michael Skeer. Every month.
Hey Westy did you speak out at the district assembly about them kids or is it just on here you mouth off.
Just called your mobile no answer
Hey Westy did you report my daughter to the DSS you bastard.
The comments about three youth offenders will be shown to the three lads who are not offenders just three lads who are helping out at the youth club,it will also be presented at the next district assembly with the swear word included.
I would guess the Parents of these lads who will be there also will want an explanation from Mr West,it was just a matter of time before he went to far with his comments.
Here we have three young lads trying to make things better for young people and he makes slanderous comments like that well he can face them at the next meeting and tell them to their face.
Hey Wildy how the hell can you be all high and mighty? your pissed as a fart in that photo. How can you be fit to judge people? Big question.
QUOTE"The sweep was part of a wider initiative involving seven boroughs in Greater Manchester " UNQUOTE
There are TEN boroughs in Greater Manchester.
Which three were not involved?
Why not?
West you are a disgrace the comments about them three young lads is disgraceful.
What have you ever done except cause trouble in many communities,I will also attend the next district assembly in Dukinfiled to see how you handle these lads and their families.
Looks like you have cocked up big style on this one Westy maybe you should sit near the police the people you have been calling on here at the next district assembly.
I am sure they will look after you or maybe you should arrange for a few more members to come and sit with you for support.
You cant even throw a sickie you don't work take my advice do some leafleting that night or stay at home blogging(but get your facts right)
A criminal's age is irrelevant. You are equally guilty if you burgle someone at fourteen or forty years of age. This country is riddled with do-gooders who are desperate to make excuses for criminals especially if they are 'young people.' Why? Because it makes them feel 'caring' and 'compassionate' and coincidentally makes them feel good about themselves. Crucially it also provides them with employment. I'll save my concern for the victims.
Life without West would be so boring say one thing for him is taste in films and art are top class
I have NOT been deselected.
The reason I am not standing in the Newton by-election is due to family circumstances.
Tameside BNP are united, as always, and we are half way through canvassing the ward.
Happy to clarify.
Its a bit rich from a bunch from boneheaded nazis to put up a foreign candidate. Wait til we expose there hypocricy. I bet there uncle adolf would not be happy.
"labour for newton", are you related to Wittgenstein? Or are you a brain dead illiterate?
Check out the Texas Department of Criminal Justice website.
When they are strapped to that bed and know the lethal drugs are entering their system the reality of the terrible crime they committed is brought home. The punishment should fit the crime.
Selective extermination is the solution to many of Britain's problems. Insane religious and political extremists kill people for their own purposes, usually some form of prejudice or bigotry. The correct method is to allow people to select themselves by their behaviour. Race, gender, class etc should be removed from the equation and when individuals commit certain acts, murder, repeated criminal offences etc they should be killed. Once they are gone they can never do any more harm nor can they perpetuate their genes.
Left-Wing scum above posting
There is nothing left-wing about selective extermination. As I have explained, people select themselves by their behaviour. Politics, race, religion etc is irrelevant.
