Christmas eve,the best day ever to hide bad news? I would hope somebody at Tameside council is ready to monitor all hours worked by employees, according to the working time directive. I am very disappointed that a council employee decides to notify opposition parties after working hours on the eve of a long Christmas break. I am concerned that a prominent Labour councillor has announced his intentions of campaigning in Newton from Boxing day onwards, did he have prior notification of the by election date?
Labour controlled Tameside council seem to operate the same tactics that the Labour government use in regard to announcements. I am sorry Tameside council seem to stick to the letter of the law and not the spirit.

Not sure about that, We have a great candidate who actually works in that ward as a volunteer for the Rosemount Brownies, just how much community work have the other candidates put in?
Leafleting is no problem as we have a surfeit of members in that ward. Also funding is no problem,as we are ok for funds upto the maximum legal limit.

West is compulsive liar Royal mail don't deliver that many letters in Dukinfield, he sends out the same letter/leaflet to the same people each week its an illness.
