James Purnell gets tough on Afghan migrant family of eight

A migrant family of eight were facing the boot from their rent-free mansion last night after ministers launched a housing benefit crackdown. Work and Pensions Secretary James Purnell said it was “unacceptable” for taxpayers to pay for Toorpakai Saindi and her kids to live in a £1.2million home. He promised an overhaul of housing allowance rules to stop jobless families living in properties they could not afford if they were in work. And in a victory for The Sun, Mr Purnell ordered council chiefs to try to find the Afghan family, who came here in 2001, a cheaper home. We revealed this month the single mum, 35, gets the equivalent of £170,000 a year from the taxpayer for the swish seven-bed home and other benefits. Her council pays a staggering £12,458 a month to her private landlord in Acton, West London. Ealing Council insisted they had no other homes big enough. Mr Purnell told The Sun last night: “I completely understand the outrage that many people felt.” He told MPs new rules are being written to include:

A CAP on rent for houses with five bedrooms or more by next April.
A REVIEW of all current deals on five bedroom-plus homes.
COUNCIL chiefs given the power to move a family after a year if a cheaper home becomes available. And Mr Purnell warned: “This first step is part of a much wider review.”
Meanwhile, Toorpakai’s son Jawad, 20, who lives in the mansion, is facing a probe into his own benefits. The Sun alerted the Department of Work and Pensions after discovering he had advertised a 1992 black Mazda RX-7 for £6,250 on the internet.
Investigators will want to know if he makes a living selling motors. The Sun

There is an interesting piece of "unwitting testimony" in this article.

Why are Afghans living in this country? Because it's not safe in Afghanistan.

Conclusion....the "Peace keeping" or whatever the termm used, in Afghanistan is not working...as the commander on the ground said recently and was criticised for doing so!

check this, history repeats itself :-

I am NOT BNP, I am a Conservative and my opinion is we should kick them out of the UK altogether! Margaret Thatcher would never have us paying for lazy, ignorant, rude, sexist pigs who come to our country for an easy ride. Forget it! send them back. They come to our country with a chip on their shoulder, then breed like crazy, smuggle in their millions of cousins ans basically take the piss. NO MORE!

Margaret Thatcher's famous use of the term "swamping" in the run-up to the 1979 general election undercut the National Front, then the leading nationalist political party in Britain, and peeled away some of its softer support.

This was a calculated move on the part of the Tories - appearing tough on the immigration issue to siphon votes away from the NF.

However, one of Thatcher's first acts as PM was to allow countless thousands of Vietnamese boat people to enter Britain.

Dukinfield bnp all washed up ?????? local candidate expresses a wish to join another party.
New leaflet being printed it will publish the emails from local bnp members telling us all about his resignation from the bnp and more just what the voters will want to read we thank him for the gift, how much longer will the local leadership who ever they are put up with this sort of strange behavior. wait till they find out which party he tried to join.
