As somebody who pays almost £1000 a year in car insurance and who has only ever claimed once - and that was many years ago when a drunk driver smashed into the back of my car in the centre of Manchester, I really get peeved off by ‘ambulance chasers’. Today I apprehended a polite young gentleman of Eastern European origin who had just posted the attached multi-lingual leaflet through my front door. I was not in anyway discourteous to him because he was just doing his job, but I have nothing but contempt for the legal leeches who make a living out of this business. I think leeches or bloodsuckers is a fair description for the people behind this trade. Who reading this ever used to have to ‘run the gauntlet’ of dodging ambulance chasers on Market Street in central Manchester? They used to form a drag net style line across the pedestrianised area and try and stop everyone passing with interrogations about trips or falls in the last three years and they were very eager to encourage people to come up answers either real or imaginary. Rant over!

No of course you don't Roy. Perhaps you would like to tell us about John Taylor, a legally elected councillor meeting somebody you do not like.
What would you do if (god forbid)you were elected, would you refuse to meet people convicted of an offence, regardless of them having serving their time.
Do you not believe a councillor's duty is to represent all, regardless of their history, ethnicity or religion, or will you only represent BNP voters?
So, would you have turned your back on Stefan Kiszko or Barry George, If they were Duki residents?.
Even violent thugs can be wronged, do you really believe you can be a councillor and write off various sections of society due to your prejudices.
I think you should be willing to talk to anybody in Duki, Black,Brown,White convicted or not, how else can you claim to represent Dukinfield in its entirety?
Can anyone tell me what happened to Mr West in Hyde? I have only been a regular visitor to this blog for the last 6 months and dont believe I have read about it anywhere. Im sure its a story that we would all like to hear
