Tamsin Dunwoody, Labour's candidate in the Crewe and Nantwich by-election, has defended her campaign's portrayal of her Conservative rival as a "toff". So let me get this straight
Tamsin Dunwoody is slating Edward Timpson for becoming wealthy through inheritage and calling him a toff but thinks inheriting her current position as Labour candidate through the death of her mother is perfectly acceptable.

By the way members of Tameside Conservatives have been down to Crewe and Nantwich to help Edward and his team early indications are very good and with a identical majority for Labour as James Purnells in Hyde and Stalybridge it could be two years of squeaky bum time for him
Yet Tamsin Dumbwoody lives on "millionaires row" in Surrey and works in Belgium!!!
Ed Timpson maybe from a priveleged background, but his family have given a lot back to the community and so does Ed for that matter. The difference is that Ed has stayed in Crewe and Nantwich where as Tamsin has not - she is an outsider who has been parachuted in - sounds like a certain someone we know in Stalybridge and Hyde!
I was in Crewe this weekend and there was a flood of vote Conservative banners right across the constituency. I only saw one for Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
So ridicule on the grounds of CLASS is ok but on the grounds of RACE, RELIGION or DISABILITY is not.

Hey David, why did the BNP didn't put up a candidate in Crewe?
The local BNP group in Crewe did put forward a candidate, Phil Williams, to stand in the Crewe and Nantwich by-election, but the BNP leadership asked him to withdraw at the last minute due to a lack of time to prepare a campaign.
The Labour Party called the election before Dunwoody had even been buried, against usual protocol, leaving us with no time.

I just have to say this......
I attended tonights Council meeting and Jean Brazil did not. According to Councillor Colin White Jean Brazil has got a common cold. I would like to add that I have got a bad cold too and I also have a sore throat and cough yet I still managed to attend the meeting which lasted less than an hour. I'm sure Jean Brazil could have swallowed a couple of Beechams and done her job to represent every resident of her ward at her very first council meeting.

Jean is very ill not just a cold Stacey looked ill and a little green, thanks for the congestion charge campaign Stacey you may know by now that many in Audenshaw welcomed it especially if they lived in the middle of it. vote winner for us just thought I would let you know could not tell you during the election, bit more substance and less spin and you might do better.

But there was no spin to Stacey's campaign at all. It was propper old skool campaigning which worked rather well. Stacey had a fantastic campaign which didn't need to use lies on the opposition, Stacey isn't desperate like Jean Brazil who is clearly only in it for the money.
We can now see just how desperate Nu Nasty really is. We had dirty tricks in Audenshaw with certain Labour party members getting rather personal and now this is happening in Crewe and Nantwich.
I would watch out in 2010 - Roy seems to think we gave them a hard time. We have someone who is very high profile standing in Longdendale for 2010.
Labour is nothing more than champagne socialist shitbags.
