This system, which operates in Northern Ireland, would minimise the risk of postal votes being stolen. A spokesman for the watchdog said last night: "The recommendations we made in the report remain valid. If the message has not been taken, we would have serious concerns that there will be problems again." The ODIHR reinforced its message after a judge warned that politicians' failure to act after past scandals was "lethal to the democratic process". On Tuesday, Richard Mawrey QC convicted a Tory councillor of carrying out a postal vote fraud to ensure he was voted into office. Eshaq Khan and his electoral team created hundreds of false names in the run-up to last year's elections and entered them on the electoral roll. They then made postal vote applications for these "ghost voters" and used the ballots to back Mr Khan. Mr Mawrey said the guilty verdict showed that fraud was now "both easy and profitable".The judge, who in 2005 said some ballots in the UK would "disgrace a banana republic", said that vote rigging was still "childishly simple to commit and very difficult to detect". Before 2000, to get a postal ballot voters had to show why they could not attend in person. UKIP, I genuinely cannot remember not approving any of your posts when moderation was in place. The only possible explanation may have been I somehow mistook your postings for some of the many spam type posts that were appearing at the time. I have always thought you are amongst the best if not the best poster on this blog. Disgraced Calne Councillor Ellie Bland whos sole claim to fame is being booted off the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate's list and suspended from the Conservative Party after sending a racist email and who has now joined UKIP must feel right at home with her new friends.
UKIP claim they are non-racist and non-sectarian and that all people are equal. (Apart from 'foreigners' and Muslims, clearly)

All areas will be done we have seen a massive rise in the number of people now using them in Dukinfield its a least 50%up on last year.

Mr UKIP, I am not a member of any political party but I certainly would not be willing to denounce the BNP. Admittedly the BNP may have some policies that some people may not agree with, but from what I know of them – they are usually the victims of vicious establishment smear campaigns, just as the United Kingdom Independence Party has been in the past – we need to look no further than the always informative website of Cllr Taylor to see an example of the kind of the attack that makes the BNP appear more as victims than aggressors.
Who would I vote for? I would only consider voting for a party that would ‘take the bull by the horns’ and promise to address the immigration crisis that I believe is having a very damaging effect on our nation.
My job takes me all over the country, and I despair when I visit towns such as Slough, Luton, Bradford and many more where successive governments have helped create communities within communities in their desire to promote the ideology of multi-culturalism. I am not talking about small enclaves of Bangladeshi’s like we have in Hyde or Ashton, I am talking vast areas where you have complete separation from mainstream society and where English is a ‘foreign’ language to many.
The Conservatives under Cameron would never address this crisis. The Fib Dems and Labour would only endeavour to add to the problem. The Green Party are fully in favour of this lunacy too, so that only leaves me with a choice of two parties who I believe are worth voting for – and both have not a hope in hell of getting elected into office.

My problems with the BNP are mainly in their policies, but also in the type of people they attract. I understand they are not all shaven headed Stormtroopers, However to be part of a party that discriminates on the basis of skin colour makes them racist. I would hope that you denounce racism.
I too share your concerns on immigration and assimilation and UKIP would indeed stop unlimited immigration. The problems of how to integrate many of the people already in this country will take time and will require an 'Australian' approach.
I share your opinions on the short term prospects for UKIP. I think things will have to get worse before the electorate are ready to make the leap. Get worse they will. The decline in this nation is accelerating. We will be ready to pick up the pieces.
