Still not affordable. It appears the only way to get on the housing ladder is to get married, which I have no intention of doing... Here was me thinking that Brown was going to promise more £100k homes.
The Tories proposing to scrap stamp duty will do nothing. It will only cause people to put up their house prices because they can do as there is no stamp duty to pay. You might as well give that money to government to help stabilise house prices and put money back into services such as education or health.
