Anyone reading
this news item in today’s Manchester Evening News may think so. This quote really cracks me up “Dozens of police were on duty as protesters from the Save the Woodhead Tunnel campaign gathered outside”. What is the suggestion, the Save the Tunnel campaigners were likely to storm the official re-opening of Salford station and publicly lynch Ruth Kelly? No wonder the Save Woodhead Tunnel event in January was under police surveillance if this is the way the state view the protesters. Incredible!

Yes quite the police state isn't it.
Three members of UKIPTameside took place in the abortive fuel protests in early December. The police had a Superintendent, a van full of police dogs, a riot van packed with officers plus never less than six plod, keeping an eye on all NINE protesters.
We took pity on them after a few hours and went home.
We were informed that our peaceful protest could be prosecuted under the terrorism laws.
Any lorries taking part risked being impounded and their Operators licence being revoked, In effect closing down companies who employ people.
What price democracy?
Some people have been complaining about the contents of my web site some items to tough or the truth hurt so I will change the content for a while so the politically correct and right wing loonies can relax for a while.
This week I will be concentrating on cookery, flower arranging and knitting, and I may look into the art of origami.
Is the above statement from the John Taylor website?
UKIP, that is shocking. Do you believe our civil liberties have been eroded more under Nu Lab than under any previous peace time administration?
Yes I do,
I think since Thatcher and the miners strike things have been headed this way.
The main problem is the aquiessence of the public, remember the poll tax riots? and yet look at the increases in council tax with no censure.
We have fallen asleep and allowed this. I hate the BNP, but is it right the way the police can refuse a bnp recruit or even stop a policeman's membership of that party.
We can beat a racist, fascist party without the rule of common justice and democracy being twisted.

This is the way The Police LOVE to operate. No certainty for you to complain about.."We didn't say it WAS illegalbut it MIGHT be"..."You can always get a legal opinion or court verdict..."
If you have the money.
British Justice, the best money can buy.....
Remember Stefan Kisko
sadly correct, and I do remember Stefan Kisko. The best argument against capital punishment I know of.
