I am watching Question Time as I read some of the comments on this blog. Thank goodness that people in the real world do not think along the lines of many of the people who leave comments here. A question was asked on the reintroduction of the death penalty and virtually everyone was against. Reading this blog one could easily imagine the opposite was opinion was true.
I personally am against the death penalty, I have noted too many miscarriages of justice via the media in this country. UKIP as a party have members who have both opinions, we do have vigorous debates about this, but all are agreed that this is too large a decision for a party leader, NEC or policy groups to decide. As I am sure you are aware the Common market as it was then, made the death penalty a block to an application to join. UKIPs policy is to hold a referendum on this issue. No political party can have members that agree with 100% of their policies 100% of the time. Our approach is to put in place our basic approach and then allow democracy to fine tune the policy. we will then implement the majority view. All other parties disagree with this view, I wonder why?
Back to the subject at hand: These leaflets are a very subtle slur upon families who have higher birth rates. These appear to include Catholics and of course Muslims. Nobody in their right mind would prefer to build on green fields as opposed to demolishing derelict buildings to make space for new houses. However the BNP manage to make it a race issue. If you thought Labour and Tories have destroyed this country just wait until the BNP have representation.

The difference "Liberal thinker" is that those on "Question Time" are free to post here but we are not free to appear on "Qustion Time"
