So the Reporter has confirmed that Karen Wright will not be standing again. This is VERY interesting. Will she be defecting or will she give up politics in Tameside altogether?

I can assure you that we do write letters to the local papers to try to get publicity and raise issues. So far the Reporter and Advertiser have largely ignored us. There seems to be a deliberate policy on the part of the local press to deny the BNP a voice. The letters we submit are relevant to Tameside and moderate in tone, yet the papers refuse point blank to give us any coverage.

In 2007, at the time of the council elections the Advertiser didn't cover ANY party or ANY candidate (Unlike the Reporter which carried photos and potted manifestos}
This Advertiser move affected the smaller parties worse than the major parties.

Taylor is worried make no mistake about that, he has never seen such a campaign like the one he now sees before him in Dukinfield.
We hear from sources in Batley that West will have 7,000 pound available for his representation not hate campaign in Dukinfield in the month of April.
If he was not worried he would not have asked UKIP to put a candidate up for Dukinfield. The jury is still out on this question.

As a qualified practising psychologist, I have been taking a number of details relating to contributors' posts on this blog. On the subject of erratic behaviour, I would suggest that there are a number of disturbed individuals at war with one another on this forum. The disturbed individuals who are currently engaged with firing insults at one another on this forum are, in essence, fighting with their own multiple personalities. Let's just take for example, Liam. A frustrated young homosexual who has deep feelings for the individuals that he fires hostility towards. The schisophrenic is a classic case of fruatration and bewilderment. I would put Mr. Billington in the above category. I hope you don't mind, Mr Tameside Citizen, when I say that 90% of contributors to this forum are maladjusted and certainly suffer from paranoid delusions. I find these individuals to be very interesting in the sense of my work as a psychiatrist.
So the next step TC is to remove all the posts on here and have a fresh new start, admitting only posts that relate to the story at hand.
From 125 comments prior to this one there were only FIVE relating to the topic. Surely that's proof in the pudding that some sort of measure needs to be introduced to curtail the 'oddball' element ruining this blog.
Let's face it, this is Tameside's 'Tory to Nazi and all points in between' water cooler/village pump. What do you expect of these people, they have nowhere better to go and nothing better to do than chew the fat on conspiracy theories and crap politics.
This isn't even a user-friendly website: there's no archive, no categories, no search engine, not even a list of recent posts. These are all easy to set up with the blogger interface.

I have always voted Labour all my life but this year Stacey will get my vote. Stacey seems to be tackling the issues that need addressing and Labour are not. Well done Stacey, it's about time we had a change of colour in Audenshaw.

Excellent, yes. Policy, no. I am being totally honest here. You can't deny that Tameside Tories is full of contradictions.
Stacey is just what the Tameside Tories need and she's definately what the Tamside Council Chamber needs.
