Tameside council meeting 15th Jan 2008

Having just returned from tonight’s council meeting and having spoken in person to Roy West who was also there, I can confirm that there was no truth in a proclamation by an anonymous poster on a now deleted thread that Roy West was arrested today. The claim was completely untrue and was posted with malicious intent.

The council meeting was a rather uneventful; the only real memorable feature of the night was when Cllr Alan Whitehead caused hilarity in the chamber by failing to work out a simple sum. Cllr Whitehead could not work out 5 x £1.40. Even John Taylor found it hilarious - which Cllr Whitehead noticed with a disapproving frown.

The public gallery was nearly full. I noticed Cllr Perry scanning the front row and constantly glancing between Liam on the end and Roy West in the middle. The rumour that Roy West had been arrested obviously reached the council chamber because many of the councillors in attendance seemed to looking in his direction.

I noticed five BNP members in the public gallery, it is also rumoured a regional level official was in attendance, quite odd for an obscure run of the mill council meeting.

On the way out a very dapper looking Liam Billington was handing out leaflets about the outrageous moves being made to close the Tameside Eye blog. One of the said leaflets appears above this post.

On a final note, I sadly have to report that Margaret Oldham does not appear to be in perfect health. Despite having a strong dislike for the treacherous Labour Party, I don’t bear grudges against individuals, especially individuals who have devoted large parts of their lives to serving the public. I believe Roy and Margaret Oldham, unlike many many politicians, have actually done good for the communities in which they serve. If Margaret Oldham is in poor health, I would like to wish her a speedy recovery.

Liam had to remove some more unpleasant material from his blog today, upset a very nice young lady called Bev,who was not happy with his comments about Gorden Brown looking at her.

There's a rumour going round that there was a national BNP official in the public gallery.

Can anyone confirm this?

If it's true, what was he doing there? Was he checking on his underlings?

I can confirm that I shall be going my last blog post tonight as Tameside Eye.

You could certainly cut the tension tonight with a knife. Something funny was going on at that meeting which I could not finger.

I went to the full council meeting tonight and thought certain CLLR's conduct was an absolute disgrace.
If anyone one who hasn't been to one of these meetings should go and you will see how the Labour Party acts.
CLLR Jack Davis as chairman couldn't run a bath he's the most biase chairman i have ever seen.

"Liam had to remove some more unpleasant material from his blog today, upset a very nice young lady called Bev,who was not happy with his comments about Gorden Brown looking at her."

John? Have Labour not asked you to remove your pro UVF stuff down yet? I presume Labour have no standards then. Hi Ho Hi Ho It's off to Private Eye I go!

I removed the stuff on Bev because she asked me to do so. There was little point in the article as Andrew Gwynne took the videos down.

I removed the stuff on Sean based on principle which he should thank me for. He publicly came crawling to me asking the picture to be removed. I responded to him privately not to embarrass both parties any further. Any funny business and it can be easily added. I have instructed numerous people to display the picture on their blogs if I was to mysteriously disappear. I have granted a close friend passwords along with a back up of the image. Oh yes!

"The council meeting was a rather uneventful; the only real memorable feature of the night was when Cllr Alan Whitehead caused hilarity in the chamber by failing to work out a simple sum. Cllr Whitehead could not work out 5 x £1.40. Even John Taylor found it hilarious - which Cllr Whitehead noticed with a disapproving frown."

What was even funnier was John Bell's comment "and this guy manages a £300m budget". Indeed. We have too many fuckwits running TMBC.

As I was told tonight. One Labour councillor was saying that they could not afford to lose their seat. They earn roughly £30k and if this person was elected. It is back to the tills for them!

"On the way out a very dapper looking Liam Billington was handing out leaflets about the outrageous moves being made to close the Tameside Eye blog. One of the said leaflets appears above this post."

Andrew Highton grassed me up. The unionist scumbag. I presumed he has had a read of Tameside Eye then...

"don’t bear grudges against individuals, especially individuals who have devoted large parts of their lives to serving the public. I believe Roy and Margaret Oldham, unlike many many politicians, have actually done good for the communities in which they serve."

Money for nothing TC. Money for nothing. The Oldham's have done fuck all. She gets no sympathy from me.

"You could certainly cut the tension tonight with a knife. Something funny was going on at that meeting which I could not finger."

Agreed. I felt that there was something going to be raised in relation to the blogs, but was put on hold due to my appearance.

Parker-Perry and Reynolds gave me evils. I take it there is no love lost between us.

Claire Francis looked like she was going to cry or slap me.

You forgot to add that Roy Oldham pointed at me and called me a pillock.

Oh and Roy Etchells "Fights for Flowers".

Roy Oldham's comment about Liam was appaling seeins Liam was sat in the public area and is not entitled to respond.
I think Liam should make anofficial complaint against the ever so pointless Roy Oldham to the council as i'm sure he would have broke some kind of conduct.

Hey Taylor if you wanted a song I would have done a little number from freddie's back catalogue. Maybe a Medley of his greatest hits. Anyway, 5,000 new local BNP leaflets for Dukinfield.

Anonymous said...

Its still here you see it makes a point and is not there to insult or have ago at some one for my own personal reasons, if the criminal justice system does not deal with this sort of scum and it doesn't ,people take the law into there own hands and it wrong.

I understand that local blogger Liam took some advice from the councils legal officer at last nights council meeting.

Her advice is always sound and I would never ever ignore her because she is always right and fair to all ,ignore her at your peril

Dear Wag,

We can have a sing-song, "The Sash..""Green Grassy slopes of the Boyne....""croppies lie down......." all UVF approved.

And what if the "Scum" are part of officialdom... Town Hall officials intent on silencing free speech? Or councillors involved in corruption or fiddles....
TEL? Tameside Care Group? mmmmmm

Anonymous said...

Its great when that John (Useless)Bell gets the stick in council.

Anonymous said...

Wag the borstal boy seems very pleased with himself.

Anonymous said...

Here is one. John Taylor was done for clocking cars and selling them on before he became a councillor!

Go investigate and see what you can pick up.

Anonymous said...

Hey John (Wag) Taylor, I know what you mean by the criminal justice system I went to court to give evidence against 14 thugs that smashed my windows in Hyde, shame you did not send a letter of support to my family instead of all the hostile ones.

Tameside Eye said...

That response sounds scripted. Have the Labour party told you to say that. The damage is doen, we all know your true feelings when you go out with Brian Wild, David Sweeton and your rent-a-mob Tameside Patrollers. Rather than reporting crime to the police you take it into your own hands by patrolling concord way. I am sure you are wasting tax payers money too when you take the Patrollers away for your own use. Do Labour councillors get first pickings now.... Hmmmmm... I remember the '07 elections when another Labour councillor had patrollers following him close by and knocking on doors saying "Look a patroller on your street" but where are they the rest of the year? They are as much use as my left hand.

Anonymous said...

Hey Mr John Taylor, you better get cracking with your campaign in Duki, I am building up the support in the area, you better get out your leaflets with some American Nazis on them.

Come on John my boy tell us why you smashed your old school up when you were a lad?

I have to admit Wag does have a great sense of humour. I burst out laughing when I saw the Freddie photo on his website.

Anonymous said...

maybe its because you don't get out much mate?

Anonymous said...

So is Taylor trying to tell us in his own clumsy way that5 he is a Billy boy from Sandy Row?

Anonymous said...

Come all ye loyal Orangemen and in full chorus join,
Think on the deeds of William and his conquest at the Boyne,
And gratefully commemorate that ever glorious day
That crown'd the mighty hero King and ended Popish sway.

Chorus.

Then band together firmly and popery overthrow
Like to your gallant brethren the Boys of Sandy Row.

Likewise yeze Presbyterians that for the truth contend
Come forward now and manfully your chartered rights defend
From fenians and from paypishes that fiercely youse assail
And hope throughout Green Erin's Isle to carry a repeal.

Chorus.

Th' intriguing paypishes surround this loyal and ancient town
They tried you know not long ago to pull the Bible down
And to destroy it root and branch they often have combined
But from Sandy Row we made them fly like chaff before the wind.

Chorus.

To brave and gallant Johnston who'd always do and dare
Now let a bumper toast go round with honours from the chair
The Boyne we never will forget nor Derry Walls renowned
And should like days again return we'll be at our posts to be found

isnt a 'wag' a Wife or Girlfriend?

Anonymous said...

Yes sleeper, but JT is known as Wag because he used to be well known for wagging school - something that you would never guess judging from his fine grasp of the English language and his incredible abilities when it comes to punctuation, spelling and grammar.

Anonymous said...

His education is earning him £52,000 per year at the moment how does that compare with your earnings with your education and your earnings ?

Anonymous said...

Doesn't Margaret Sidebottom have links with the Orangemen?

Anonymous said...

£52k per year is more than twice my salary, but there again, I go to bed at night with a clear conscience clear in the knowledge that I am not betraying the working classes who I fool into believe I represent, nor am I complicit in the destruction of Britain as we know it, neither do I belong to, vote for, or represent a political party and government that has waged war against two sovereign nations, Serbia and Iraq, as well as Afghanistan.

At the end of WWII, people got executed for waging wars of aggression. Since Nu Lab took office in 1997 with the oh so ironic theme tune “things can only get better”, they have involved this country in three wars of aggression. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that when their crimes are brought to justice that they will have to pay the ultimate penalty.

With regards to the £52k salary, all I can say is; treachery does indeed pay well!

Anonymous said...

Not well enough I deserve more and I am worth more that you, you get paid what you are worth.

Anonymous said...

Hey Wag are you still in contact with that thug from Hyde, the one that kept that family in fear of violence him and his two sons, you remember don't you?

Tom Hagen said...

"Not well enough I deserve more and I am worth more that you, you get paid what you are worth."

Has anyone read the book Animal Farm by George Orwell?

Basically Taylor says he needs more than us "peasants". We are obviously beneath this cunt and us working class folk deserve a low pay.

Hmmmmm... I wonder what TMBC unions would make of this????

The God father of a gang of thugs from Hyde area that were roaming the streets smashing peoples windows, but Taylor was happy to have this thug at his council office.

TE is ticking over well. The blog will NOT be deleted... at least I think it won't :|

TE is booming after my leafleting of the full council meeting. It was so successful, I may even tour the DA's as more concerned members of the public attend them. It means more visitors for me. Visitors = Propaganda. Word of mouth spreads.

Anonymous said...

John Taylor talks about racist Fascist scum on the streets of Duki, yet no mention of his meeting with the scum from Werneth Avenue. This gang of scum kept a mother and her children in fear of violence for 4 years. Taylor confirms this meeting in a letter sent out to the victims. But still no mention of this meeting on the blog or to the good people of Dukinfield.

My local councillor is not not there to give myself and my family support through our great ordeal of violence from thugs, but he is there to ban me from his council office, who is this local councillor?

Anyway thousands more leaflets on the way for Duki.

Can of Worms Mr Taylor i do't think you really want an enquiry into anything
As if the Police or who ever you get to investigate get a counter claim from the defendant they will look into several blogs from your goodself and other CLLR'S right near Election time.
As this will more than likely get publicity from the Media
So go on and do it that's one way to start losing seats as believe it or not the General Public don't like wankers and you or your collegues wouldn't want to fall into that category would you?

Even the best organised party would find this difficult and and I wont mention the cost of the printing on top of the postage but like I have already said take a look at the Freddie poster, the message is very clear.

Anonymous said...

This weekend hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens will watch, with much trepidation, both weather reports and leaden skies. These are the unfortunate people whose homes are built upon floodplains – not the sort that are flooded every year mind you – but the sort that are supposed only to experience “once-in-a-century” events. The problem is, of course, that in a growing number of cases such events aren’t so much “once-in-a-century” as “every-other-year”!

In addition, we are also seeing areas that have no history of flooding being engulfed by flood waters, for no other reason than traditional floodplains now have flood defences to protect new estates, forcing swollen rivers to flood onto land that has never flooded previously.

So why is it that developers are building on “occasional” floodplains, thereby reducing traditional floodplain acreage? The answer to that question is because people need homes and frequently the only land available happens to be the sort of land where you really should not be building at all.

Anonymous said...

Don't forget to declare all these funds for your campaign Roy don't want you to end up like Peter Hain now do we.

Anonymous said...

We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I can say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. Let that be realised; no survival for the British Empire, no survival for all that the British Empire has stood for, no survival for the urge and impulse of the ages, that mankind will move forward towards its goal. But I take up my task with buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men. At this time I feel entitled to claim the aid of all, and I say, "come then, let us go forward together with our united strength."

How many leaflets will you be posting today remember the Tories and Lib Dems do around 60,000 between them for the whole of Tameside with around 40 helpers between them.
So far you have done 95,000 on your own, if you got a job and worked for the post office you could cut their running cost by half and set a good example to the rest of the workforce.

Anonymous said...

I support the post office, they have been posting my leaflets, Got a campaign team coming down from Batley for the April campaign. Remember, 520 votes the first time and great support coming in from Duki-residents.

Deep Voice, regading Cllr Oldham referring to Mr. Billington as a "Pillock". I agree, this would indeed appear to contravene just about every council's code of conduct. Perhaps Cllr Oldham ought to be reported to the standards board? As far as Cllr Oldham is concerned, he ought to know better than to behave like this. It is not acceptable for a senior elected official to be going around calling members of the public names, even if you don't like them or disagree with their views.

Given that Tameside has effectively been a one party state for longer than Zimbabwe, perhaps the leadership think they can get away with behaving like Bad Bob Mugabe & Co, or is it that Bad Bob is their true inspiration? The mind boggles.
