Rising Cabinet star James Purnell promoted

Peter Hain has resigned from the Cabinet after police launched a probe into his deputy leadership campaign finances - saying he has "no alternative" but to fight to clear his name. He became the first casualty of Prime Minister Gordon Brown's term of office, stepping down as Work and Pensions Secretary and Secretary of State for Wales. His dramatic departure was announced minutes after the Electoral Commission said it is referring the row over his late declaration of £103,000 in funding to Scotland Yard. The Metropolitan Police then confirmed an investigation had begun by detectives from its Economic and Specialist Crimes Command. Mr Hain was given advance warning of the commission's decision and telephoned the premier in Downing Street at 11.30am."It was not a protracted conversation," said Mr Brown's spokesman, who confirmed that Mr Hain instantly offered his resignation.Rising Cabinet star James Purnell was later promoted from Culture Secretary to Work and Pensions Secretary to replace Mr Hain, although he will not also serve as Welsh Secretary.Mr Hain told reporters as he left his department for the last time: "In view of the decision of the Electoral Commission, I have come to the conclusion that I have no alternative but to resign as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and Secretary of State for Wales, and I have now done so.

Only 3 or 4 comments on Mr Purnell, yet 80+ on West vs Taylor.

James Purnell shared a flat with the new culture secretary Andy Burnham who looks a bit of a fag. Put 2 + 2 together and see what you get.

James is a future PM. If you are a gambler back you could do worse than place a long term speculative bet. Take it from someone who knows.

Future PM? Is that why he is still in the closet?

What about:

Ed "Sweaty" Balls
David "Loves Shit Sex" Milliband

Cllr Parker-Perry, what odds are you offering on your guv'nor? Not that I'm a gambling man mind, truly dreadful habit.

James has been invited to a very important conference where future leaders are decided. James will be attending this years conference in Ireland where his credentials will be discussed and the likely result will be that he is pencilled in as a future party leader and eventualy primeminister. Place your bets folks while the odds are good. This is not a wind up.

Why is shit-for-brains telling us this? "very important conference" - Hmmmmms.... what is this conference called? Ireland eh? To meet with your loyalist friends?

Tameside VIP.

Is this conference the Bilderberg conference?

Anonymous said...

That is the exact same question i was going to ask Chris. If Purnell is indeed a 2008 Bilderburg attendee, it proves betond a doubt how corrupt the political system as become.

Bilderberg Conference; that's where Mandleson and co used to go, and we all know Mandy proved to be as corrupt as they come. Still, it did land him a plum job in the European Commission, the corruption epicentre of Western Europe.

I wonder what my bookmaker will think of that one..............

Something like that, but put your bets on while the odds are good.

And you are telling us this because... don't tell me you have shares in Ladbrooks Sean.

Oh and what do you think of that Conway MP? They are trying to pass a law where family members can't work as MP's assistants. I wonder how that will affect you.

So Sean, are you confirming that Mr. Purnell is indeed a Bilderberger? Just don't let him be caught doing the sort of things Peter Mandleson got up to like strange mortgages and even becoming friends with strange businessmen. Hmm, what exactly was he doing meeting David Abrahams?

Somehow, meeting people like that doesn't send out an appropriate message for a future Prime Minister.

Ladbrokes? Piffle, I bet with a friend of one of my business clients - The legend that is Mr Fred "BetFred" Done - a PROPER bookmaker.

Who's been at Mr. Purnell's Wikipedia page? I think we already know...................
