PM's praise for lake hero
Gordon Brown has congratulated a teenager who risked his life to save a friend.Mark Buckley, 18, went to Downing Street after being named in the Vodafone Life Savers' Awards.Mark was 16 and living in Audenshaw when he performed his heroic act. He was with friends at Samuel Laycock School, Stalybridge, when he heard screams from the nearby Chadwick Dam. He ran to the lake and saw Andrew Whitfield, 14, who could not swim, struggling in the freezing water.Mark crawled across ice to reach Andrew, but it cracked and both boys plunged into the water before Mark got the two of them back to dry land. They were both treated in hospital for hypothermia.Mark said he was thrilled to meet the Prime Minister: "I felt like a celebrity."

Good on you my friend.........
Maybe he can train the useless PCSO'S
If councillor John Taylor does not wish to received any reaction from members of The BNP, Then why does he constantly refer to local BNP members has being scumbags and other defamatory statements on his website. On his website today The 22/12/2007, he goes on about BNP members kicking the shit out of each other and BNP members hoping for a white Christmass. For someone who wants to be left alone he his a very strange operator.
