I think in the Dukinfield ‘battle of the Christmas cards’ Roy West wins hands down. I prefer his because of the traditional Christmas nativity scene – something that Labour would be too afraid to promote (just in case minorities took offence). I also think that Roy west’s is better presented and more pleasing to the eye. The calendar is also a good idea. Well done Roy West; you have designed a lovely Christmas card.

Jesus Is Lord- Christmas was when our King was born.
Labour has betrayed the message of Jesus in so many ways they should hang their heads in shame when putting out Christmas cards. They are anti Christian as well as anti working class. RW's is the best - no doubt about it.
Roy West's card gives a true representation of Tameside - the picture captures the typical property seen in Tameside. As for Taylor's does it come with a free coffee stain?
Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ The Son of Man. We have long lost the true meaning of Christmas...............
You have them on the ropes Roy - keep it up. Look at the sad effort of an excuse on Taylors website and the hurried excuse for a christmas card they rushed out when they realized that you had yet again outsmarted them. Labour are not only hideously corrupt, but bankrupt when it comes to innovation and new ideas. Tell me this Roy, or anyone else who lives in Duki, does Labour put out a Christmas card every year in Dukinfield or is this the first time they have attempted it. If it is the first time, Roy and the BNP have got them banged to rights and should make a campaigning issue of it in the run up to the elections to show what Roy does today, the dinosours of Labour do tomorrow.
Hail victory to the peoples champiin - Roy West
Dear Anonymous It is true that Taylor is copying my ideas. The growing support for tha BNP in Dukinfield has got them worried indeed. I don't know if Labour have put out a Christmas card in the area before.
They're both shit who would want a Christmas card from a political party anyway
I think it is a great idea. In Manchester Liebour and the Liberal Democrats are falling overthemselves at the muslim festival of eid to deliver happy eid cards, so why shouldnt political partys in Tameside distribute happy christmas cards. Good on them both for making the effort.

Kevin, pull yourself together and embrace hope over hate. Rejoin the human race and leave the Fascist BNP.
BREAKING NEWS : WEST CHASED FROM DUKINFIELD BY ANGRY RESIDENTS ANGERED AT HIM PREACHING RACIAL HATRED
The above comment about Roy West being chased away by residents in Dukinfield is bullshit, Taylor very worried about growing support for The BNP in the area.
No Taylor I do not preach racial hatred you know why I am campaigning for the British National Party in Dukinfield.
Hope not Hate Let me try to explain something to you, when my family were being attacked in our home by violent thugs we HOPED that our local councillors would give us representation, we hoped that the courts would give the thugs that smashed our windows real punishment. No political party controls my thoughts I am well focused on what I am doing in Dukinfield with the BNP it is not a campaign based on racial hate. Hope is indeed a wonderful thing to hold on to......we did during all that violence at our home in Hyde. I openly admit that I am going full steam ahead over the next months, if you want reasons as to why I am in The BNP, Don't look for the lies that I hate non-white people I hate those politicians who turned their backs on my family. My determination that is yet to come in the big political push in Dukinfield, will see fear amongst the established councillors in this area. You have to fight for your rights in this corrupt world and I am going to make sure that the people of Dukinfield have all the facts. A new leaflet is going to be put together to inform the people of Duki that my family had to be re-housed because of the terrible acts of violence against my family. The lies from cllr John Taylor will also be exposed.
This Xmas card from Labour is awful. It looks like a small child has produced it.
Couldn't Andrew Gwynne have used a photo of the Holy Land on the card?
After all, he has been there.

Word has it Labour have now gone a step further and incorporated the calender from the BNP card on the latest Christmas cards that they are distributing in Ashton.

Ashton residents need a calendar? for what? Ikea canteen opening times?
Talking of Ikea, how many local businesses is that killing? Why was it approved? Cos it would bring jobs to local people.
How many local people does it employ?
How many local people are employed at TMBC above the SO1 grade?
I love tangents

Dear Anon
Good question, perhaps someone should ask a question under the "Freedom of Information Act" so we can find out how many SO1's live in Tameside.
we wish you are merry Christmas folks.
