Ambler needs media training - he keeps on looking down towards the floor rather than the camera.

John Bell would of been better. I hear he is a great performer.

John is a very good actor and holds himself well, he will come across much better than Colin and you can see by the way he dealt with Liam that he will stand no messing,we will be voting for him in Dukinfield.
He is a great performer.

Wheelchair man slashed in the face

26/ 9/2007


A man in a wheelchair was attacked during an incident in Ashton on Tuesday.


Shortly after midnight the 51-year-old man went out to walk his dog when he was approached by three men on Blandford Street who asked him for cigarettes and money. The man did not have any and one of the men searched his pockets.


The second man then slashed his face with a wire claw instrument and the third offender slashed his chest with a Stanley knife. They then ran away.


Nothing was stolen during the incident. The victim suffered a cut to the chest and grazes to his face.


The man with the knife is described as asian with black short hair. He was 5ft6in to 5ft8in tall and aged between 20 and 24-years-old. He was wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.


The man who slashed him in the face is described as Asian, 5ft4in to 5ft6in tall and aged 18-years old and of slim build. He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.


The third man is described as asian, 5ft8in tall and aged between 20 and 24-years old and of medium build.. He was wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
