John Taylor resignation – urgent 3am update

Having just received a copy of a leaflet from a Dukinfield BNP representative along with a request to publish the leaflet on this blog, I feel obliged to put up this urgent request to possibly avert legal action if the allegations against Cllr Taylor prove to be false.

Dear BNP representative, I dare not publish that leaflet on this blog for fear of leaving myself open to legal action if the allegations against Cllr Taylor are proven to be untrue or libellous. I strongly urge you submit the said document to your parties legal team to avoid possibly crushing legal action against you personally or your party if the allegations cannot be proven. If however these allegations are proven to be true and are connected to the shock decision from Cllr Taylor’s who has pledged to submit his resignation on Friday; the Tameside Labour party and those allied to Cllr Taylor will be sent reeling and badly affected from the fallout.

Very interesting times!

It can't be true I will believe it when I see it. Taylor is full of shit and more shit.

*Crosses fingers that it gets in before the Advertisers Friday deadline*

Roy's new leaflet does indeed say some very damaging things about Cllr Taylor, but we are going to put the leaflet out anyway.
How can anyone prove who distributed the leaflet?

It has hard to believe that John Taylor has being hiding such a shameful past for so many years. I would suggest that you contact the newsdesk at your prefered local newspaper and offer the the story on Taylor as an exclusive. That way you are more likely to get a front page and maximum exposure. The allegations are shocking and hardly believable - I just hope for your sake they are true and your witnesses stick to their word and testify on oath if required.

Don't worry, our legal department has verified that Roy's new leaflet is legal.

well this will prove if the local BNP have any bottle litigation can very expensive,Borstal if its true there will be records for you to prove your case and he should have made this known on his nomination forms, standards board will have to investigate.
Cant wait for this to break.

No you're wrong, it was so long ago he didn't have to disclose this on his nomination papers.
We have two credible witnesses who will swear on oath that Cllr Taylor was with them in Borstal.
Also, we are backed by serious money, that's why we can produce so many glossy cards such as the one Roy distributed recently.

The electorate sure does like glossy cards through their door.

Labour shove cheap "indian takeaway" leaflets with poor graphic design all the time. Just look at Taylor's.

"Due to extreme pressure and heavy workload I will be announcing my resignation on Friday the 12th October."

It sounds very trivial to me. He doesn't actually say he will be resigning to be a councillor.

I have a feeling he will stop selling rags on the market.

Isn't he president over some fictitious union?

Answers on a post card please!

There are two versions of this leaflet and several hundred have been delivered today, I should know because I have been giving them out to people on Lakes Road, Saxon Avenue, Boyds Walk, King street ect.

These new leaflets are very hard hitting. This must be the cause of Taylors sudden decision to resign. Everyone in Duki is talking about it. I bet he sells up and leaves now the cat is out of the bag.

Looks like I was right about Taylor to stop selling on the markets. Shitle sticks!

"Due to extreme pressure and heavy workload I will be announcing my resignation on Friday the 12th October. Having worked on the markets for twenty years its time to call it a day, my plan is to close down at the end of the year."

Oh dear Taylor are you feeling the pressure from the council making it harder for traders to compete against all the big brand stores? Is it because the council shoved you out of the way into the new Phoenix Club? No sorry it is Phoenix Hall!

Where can I buy my commemorative rag WAG?

Tameside Citizen said...

What an anticlimax! So JT is not resigning as a councillor after all. I suppose he is quitting as a market trader because the politics pays so much better. I bet someone in his position who has been in the game so long clears at least £30k a year in allowances and expenses from his various roles within the council.

Did you know that Taylor owns two houses two small terrace properties in Ashton, both in a regeneration area check out his declarations.

Anonymous said...

Thats all well and everything, but what I want to know is who owns Roy Oldham's house?

Great info from anonymous and Anthony! I am trying to trace a website I stumbled across earlier this year. It was dedicated to exposing the link between the Gtr Manchester Labour councils and Manchester Airport, it is alleged, and I believe it to be true that the airport is used as a massive slush fund for the various Labour groups in the area and also as a place where they put loyal apparatchiks ‘out to graze’ when their shameful careers are at an end. It is rumoured that TMBC leader Roy Oldham has got an executive role at the airport lined up and waiting for when he steps down as leader of the council.

PS; Taylor is on slightly less than TC’s estimate.

Roy west is having secret talks with the conservative group about joining them he will be offered a seat to fight in 2008

Anonymous said...

This is big news. Would Roy West really want to join the Tories when they, along with Labour abandoned him and his faimily to the mercy of vioent thugs?

I stand as a candidate for the BNP in Newton and for two years running I've gained 25% of the vote. When I'm out leafleting I find most people polite and courteous. However, two or three far-left extremists regularly scream at me in the street and accuse me of being a 'hater' but they never argue against our policies.

Roy West and John Bell
The unholy alliance.

Anonymous said...

The Conservatives in Tameside are a joke even Taylor will tell you that. Cllr Bell is never seen to be talking about crime on our streets, he leads a sad Tory Group that is not interested in listening to local folk. Get ofF your Liberal attitude. Cllr Bell is so wishy washy and just wants to be seen as very LIBERAL.

You BNP members are a joke you spend far to much time on here and think that thousands of people are reading about you, not so Liam told us that its around 20 at the most.
Same people all the time all very sad get some work done.

Tom Hagen said...

I never said such a thing. I said it is all the same people commenting.

I would never make such a wild claim without seeing stats for a blog. You can tell the popularity for a blog usually by the ammount of comments it receives on average for a post.

Anonymous said...

Well at least you come on here Taylor using different names so you must be one of the sad bastards then.

Anonymous said...

It's the few not the many that make history.

Anonymous said...

Whoao wait til Taylor sees this leaflet. If they had still had stocks, Taylor would find himself bombarded with rotten tomatoes.

Anonymous said...

No leaflet, no guts, no bottle,

Anonymous said...

I have received no leaflet myself.

Before anyone starts talking about no bottle, you should consider thinking about CRASH Gordon before rattling on like you do.

Anonymous said...

nowt to do with Gordy we were promised a leaflet by the BNP on Taylor and it was bullshit, they have no bottle,

Anonymous said...

We wound you up Mr wag, that's the main thing.

Anonymous said...

Drat! I love a gold old shit slinging match.

Anonymous said...

ZOMG!!! Labourites are even going on that the BNP don't fill out their promises to the electorate because they didn't send out a defamatory leaflet about Taylor.

Pot, Kettle and Black come to mind.
