This post is in response to a comment made by Liam in an earlier post. I would like to confirm that this NOT a BNP blog. I am just an ordinary citizen of Tameside with a curious nature. A lot of the posts on here are connected to the BNP and there are two reasons for this. Firstly I do often get sent material by certain BNP members who frequent this blog and secondly, after discovering for myself there is a deliberate policy to deny the BNP a voice in local newspapers. When I was told of this I had to try and see if it was true, so I put pen to paper and sent a topical letter into our local newspaper posing as a BNP’er and hey presto – the BNP were proven correct and the letter never appeared. This in my opinion is unjustified because despite the BNP having no elected representation in Tameside, they certainly – judging from the votes they receive, do represent a substantial amount of the electorate in the borough of Tameside.
For what it is worth; I am happy to post political stories or topical items from any party or individual in Tameside.

Free speech, New Labour are taking this fundamental human right away from the British people.
I used to get 90% of my letters published, now I get none.
I here a rumour that one local councillor gets to see critical letters to the press BEFORE they are published. Is this true?
It is further rumoured that he once wrote and had printed a response to criticism which had appeared in a letter to a local newspaper. Unfortunately the paper had cut that part of the letter when the paper was published SO THE ORIGINAL CRITICISM WAS NOT PUBLISHED IN THE PAPER. Hence it was revealed that he had foresight of the letters.
Any further information on this matter is welcome
Democracy...ha bloody ha!
oops, that should be "hear"
This is true Tameside Citizen. I have sent letters to the local papers in Stockport and have had only one published. This I can only put down to an oversight by the editor. I have stood as a candidate for the BNP in the town 3 times(7 candidates this year-May 2007). The paper seems to have, along with the national press, an agenda to not let the BNP a voice. Undemocratic when you consider the number of votes we get.
As for the blog being BNP run, looking at the broad spectrum of the articles published on the site, and the responses received, in my opinion, the blog is neutral.
Sorry TC, it is just that Taylor has been going to other political parties and emailing me saying that the Tameside Citizen is a BNP blog.
I actually enjoy reading a blog which is not bias unlike the Manchester Grauniad group of newspapers.
I posted a link as Alistar Campbell and Labour are obviously worried about right wing bloggers.
Over the last 5 years I have written many letters to the Advertiser and they haven't printed a single one, despite the fact that 25% of the electorate in Newton consistently vote for me.Recently, my letters have focussed on the community work I've been involved in,no mention of crime or immigration, yet the paper still will not print them.
Liam, I thought I saw you on Thursday afternoon walking a black and white dog near Bottoms reservoir close to Hadfield. Was it you?
Lets look at bnp free speech, Would the bnp allow Homosexuals to join the bnp?
No I do not have a dog although I am thinking of getting a Beagle.
I am currently in York on a contract.
Ok, thanks for that Liam. I have only seen a photograph of you and this lad walking the dog resembled you. It was a good job I dib not approach him and ask him - it would have been very embarrassing!
To rgb
errrr....to my certain knowledge there are gays in the BNP.
And less "homophobia" than in George Galloway's "Respect".
HOMO, from the Greek meaning the same.
PHOBIA...fear
Hence "Fear of the same" ie men who fear men, baldies who fear baldies, blondes who fear blondes etc.
The word is wrong!
Tameside citizen
I STRONGLY suggest you don't approach lads in parks (with or without dogs) people might think your a friend of the real gay boy.
Bottoms reservoir!? Perlease!
Lord Lichfield are you Sean Parker-Perry?
dear anonymous
re: Lord Lichfield.
No I'm not Sean Parker-Perry. I'm really Dean Friedman trying to get one over on that damn Billy Joel!
Don't let the perm and moustache fool you.Or the rocking chair.
Lets have a closer look with puffs in the NF/BNP. John Tyndal knew nothing of Martin Webster's Homosexuality from 1967 to 1984?
Don't try that one with me, Tyndal knew that Martin was a puff.
Martin Webster did not destroy the National Front, It was the F...... skinheads and the Nazi salutes in the street. John Tyndal f..... up the NF.
we drove the nf away from tameside in the 70s and we will do the same with the bnp today
"We"?
And who are "We"?
From what I remember you were a pretty poor lot! I once got a death threat through my door written on the back of a letter to the guilty party FROM HIS PROBATION OFFICER with his name and address!
It must be Taylor fighting with courage against the National Front on the streets of Tameside.
Taylor kicked the National Front out of Tameside. Ha Ha dream on Taylor.
Hey Taylor you will do the same with the bnp? more like you are ready for the funny farm I would say.
How does Taylor intend to 'drive the BNP out of Tameside'?
Taylor claims he helped to get rid of the NF in the 1970s, but as everyone knows, it was Mrs Thatcher's speech in 1979, on Britain being swamped with immigrants, that was responsible for the collapse in the NF's vote.Previous NF voters switched to the Tories after Thatcher's speech.
The NF disappeared because of the Tories not the Labour Party.
I believe you are 100% correct Mr NCB. If I remember correctly, wasn't it around this time that Michael Foot become Labour leader which rendered them unelectable for many years?
Why does Taylor get all his letters published ,I have been told he is very close to one of the reporters ,I am also told he gets paid a fee .
Back Hander The Wag Taylor.
Yes you are correct TC,however,it must never be forgotten that Michael Foot was a huge admirer of Sir Oswald Mosley.See OM's autobiography My Life, on the back there is a quote from Mr Foot.
"Sir Oswald could have been a Labour or Tory Prime Minister, he was the most talented politician of his generation"
The ones he was shagging have now left but I am told hes got another one now, we will see over the next few weeks.
Bet you a tenner he is in this week shag or no shag
Duncan Warner said "The paper seems to have, along with the national press, an agenda to not let the BNP a voice."
The editor of "Bolton News", one baldheaded old bigot named Steven Hughes, has actually stated "we will NOT give any publicity to the BNP". He'll probably deny it, since this message was passed through one of his lesser hacks over the phone, but there you have it, it doesn't 'seem' to be his agenda, he admitted that it actually is.
Only my sarcastic letters get in the Reporter.
Tameside Advertiser wont print my crap at all =\
Try doing a letter now Liam you could be a news story also, do you want me to organise a photo with Taylor cast iron gaurantee it will be in next week, two little twats together.
